I just recieved my Premium Nurser Gift set via my mom. I am currently 8 months pregnant with my third kid and these were the bottles i used for kids 1 and 2. The drop ins are convenient. No need to walk around with more than one bottle or a bunch of dirty bottles. It does help reduce colic and gas. For my second baby i switched between other bottles just to try new ones and it was a mistake. He always had more gas with the others, therefore i had to make sure he burped good and well and more than once. So never again will i use a different type of bottle. and the price my mom paid for the set wasnt bad because of all it came with. Yes yolu have to buy the drop ins and thats an added expensive, but we are on a super budget and even we dont think its alot. Especially with how good they are, the convenience they provide and the difference it will make in feeding our baby.
I have used these bottles with my last 3 kids and now with my 4th. I have never had any problems and these work well when your husband doesn't like to rinse stuff before putting them in the dishwasher - nothing gets stuck in the bottom of the bottles! Makes life easier - don't spend time scrubbing the bottom of bottles anymore! Better for the baby to be able to push the air out and a sanitized liner ready to use. Also I really like the nipple shape since I breast feed and bottle feed, easy transition.
It's very convenience, essay to remove air bubbles from bottle the nipple are not long and they are soft. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Just what I wanted!
We were using Dr. Brown bottles as they were recommended by a friend. But, our daughter was constantly straining, dribbling milk, gasping, and full of gas (and we were cleaning all those extra parts!). We switched to these because I remember my sister using them 20+ years ago. It was like night and day! No extra air, milk isn't flowing out the side of her mouth, and less parts to wash. One thing is that if you stop feeding, then air will get back into the drop in. Once there's not much milk left it's hard to reach back up into the bottle to get the air out again and resume feeding. So, if we have to pause the feeding, we just lay the bottle on its side. The nipples don't leak and the air doesn't go back into the drop in.
I love these! They don't leak and are such an easy clean up. My baby loves the original nipples that come with it so that's wonderful. Also I don't believe the liners are expensive and I best part is that a couple bottles is all you need. I don't need a cupboard full.
Awesome bottles. Ive raised 5 kids on these bottles (ages 26 , 24, 20, 19 and 4 )and now my grandkids also use them. No other bottle helps with tummy pains and gas like these do. Just be sure to always remove all the air from bottle even after burping...... I always used a wooden spoon to get all the way up to get the air out because your hand doesnt always fit that far up but its worth the extra few seconds to keep tummy pains away!!!!
All I care about now that I have a 1yr old and a newborn is easy clean up. Forget the vent air which has 5 pieces to wash and assemble every time, not to mention the tiny crevaces you have to clean dried up formula out of! The only thing is color choice i had a boy first now i'm having a girl so i don't need any blue just girl colors which i thought i was getting but when i opened the box it had a blue bottle in it as well as purple and green and yellow. And of course this item is never in stock so i had to order it site to store which i love having the option to do!! o well!
Unless the new mom is pumping breast milk for feeding at a later time there are several pieces to this set which are of no use whatsoever for basic feeding. Spend your money instead on just the bottles, nipples, rings and disposable 'bags'. Playtex has always been the leader in minimal gas-producing products and these are excellent-baby grandaughter barely even BURPS! I used the 'original' Playtex bottle/bags when my children were babies and am now using the newer 'systems' for feeding my grandchildren. The products have kept 'up with the times' and the newer nipples last longer than the original brown ones.
