Why did you discontinue the ultra??? Only tampon that can contain my period and get me through the day. Tampax sucks. Falls out of me - their ultra does not last me an hour and I'm soaking through my pads. Please start making the ultras again!!!! Please please please! I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue!!!
These are the best in my book and worth the money
I appreciate that they are organic; however, the applicator on these are terrible!
While I have no complaints about the actual tampons, the applicators are horrible. The two parts don't slide well and the grip isn't grippy at all. I have used all kinds of tampons in my many years of menstruation, and never once have I looked up the product to complain and write a review. I know that there are worse things in the world right now, but an inconvenient tampon applicator can really put a person in a bad mood.
The cardboard is terrible. Will not slide. I'll stick to my regular plaited tampons.
This applicator is hard to use--why use a paper plunger with a plastic top? The plunger is not strong enough and I end up throwing away about 1/3 of the box. They are way too expensive to throw defective product away! It would be easier to bring back the Simply line, a line that was actually user-friendly and effective.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago mainly because my local store was out of the sports design. I do like the idea of less plastic. I found it hard to get the tampon out of the tube. The cardboard plunger is not strong enough to push the tampon out. I have thrown out about half my box because I wasn't able to get the tampon out.
What happened to my regular ultra absorbancy!?!?!? This is ridiculous! These are literally the worst I've ever used... and this includes full cardboard "poverty" style tampons! I have to be in bathroom almost every hour, and have to wear a full size pad to prevent clothing leaks, so these things (I hesitate to even call it a tampon!) are completely worthless! Thanks for making sure all I could think about on what was meant to be a fun weekend with my kids and grandbaby consisted of heading to the bathroom every hour to deal with a disgusting mess!
I appreciate the effort to use less plastic, but this is a meager attempt. We are at a point where these half-measures have to stop, and we need to halt single use plastic waste completely, especially when that item can be made of another material. Tampax has made fully cardboard applicators for years! But I find Playtex's actual tampons to be more comfortable and leakproof. Why can't you guys come up with a fully cardboard applicator? Or a biodegradable one made of sugarcane? You're a big company with buying power. Surely you have the resources to R&D this. The real kicker here though is I thought surely in addition to the stem being cardboard, that you would've followed suit through to the tampon wrapper itself, and made that paper too, but nope. Full on plastic. Honestly, this half-hearted attempt makes me feel worse about their care of the planet than if they had done nothing.
i bought these instead of the sports tampons. What a mistake. they applicator was not good and it felt like the tampon was going way up and was uncomfortable. i threw away the box after trying two times.
