Pleasant Hearth Harper Fireplace Screen with Doors

this is a great fireplace screen. my one complaint is that there were no instructions to assemble it. But for anyone who has ever put anything together that won't be a problem. It's just six screws. We did not use the additional metal bracing. We use the main bracing that you see pictured that's arched in the front. Love the magnetic closures. works great

This was the perfect screen for my 32 inch wide fireplace opening particularly in light of the fact that the opening has an arch and the screen is also arched. More importantly, it has doors which allow you to feed the firewood through the doors rather than picking up and removing the entire screen. This is incredibly convenient and the doors work very well. The only reason I gave it four stars was that the back bracket bolts did not keep the bracket firmly in place. But it was easily resolved with the addition of two washers. it was easily $100 cheaper than other similar screens I was looking at.

Product is very nice--but the packaging was terrible. It arrived in a flimsy box with no padding around it and both ends of box torn open. I fully expected the screen to be damaged or the legs to be missing--but surprisingly all was ok.

Box was in perfectly good shape but product was scratch and knobs were broken off the front. Very disappointed. It had clearly been opened before, damaged and then returned.

When I opened this item the item was in terrible condition. It had scratches and gouges all over it and the handle on one of the doors was not attached. I tried screwing it back on but it was still lose. I called the 1 800 number and then returned it to Walmart
