We played the game once at a friends and enjoyed it so much. We bought it to play thanksgiving when the family is here.

This Poetry for Neanderthals Expansion Pack by Exploding Kittens is hilariously fun to play. My family enjoys playing it and it's always a lot of laughs when we do. The concept is easy to understand and the instructions are clear. The blow up bat adds a fun and unique factor to the game. Overall, I would really recommend playing.

I love this expansion. I played the original too many times to the point where I know the cards almost automatically, which gives me an unfair advantage when playing this awesome game. Now I have so many cards to choose from! Looking forward to coming up with my own custom cards, but I'm sure I won't have to make any for a long time.

This pack is no frills and just a bunch of extra word cards but it definitely a MUST if you plan to play the game a lot as a family. We went through half of the original game cards on our first night playing so I know having the extra cards will be great for variety since we play games pretty frequently with our kids.

The expansion pack is totally worth it! You can already play this game for endless hours but the expansion pack makes sure you have tons of never before played cards! It keeps it interesting and allows you to have many game nights with family and friends while always getting something new.

I received a free sample of the game and expansion through tryazon for my review. I played this with friends and neighbors and it was fun. My SO is dyslexic and it was a bit challenging for him. It was a lot more challenging coming up with poems with words with one syllable than I thought it would be but it was fun hitting people with the no stick. The expansion pack was nice to add more options for us to go through.

Easy game to understand with a little added twist. You have to come up with one syllable words or get bonked on the head. Fun for kids and adults! Also good for kids learning syllables. The expansion pack adds 500 cards giving the game a little more variety.

The expansion pack adds a lot more fun to Poetry for Neanderthals. Poetry for Neanderthals is the game for large groups. It's a challenge, but so much fun. Any age groups will find fun in this one. It's also a great quick game, if you can stop yourself! My high school students couldn't get enough; it was also fun to play with colleagues, friends, and family!

I think the price is reasonable for an expasion. Loved the new cards. My only disappointment was that it was advertised with a bonus called the “Stay at home pack.” Granted, it was also advertised that while supplies last in the bonus. However, I bought this game about two months ago, perhaps even three by the time I'm doing the review. The “Stay at Home Pack” was still being advertised until about a week or two ago.

I purchased the item last week thinking that I would get the stay at home pack for ordering here. I finally received the item a week after placing my order and I did not get the stay at home pack. Currently the website STILL advertises that it includes the stay at home pack if you order from their website. If this item has been out of stock for at least a week, why is it still being advertised? Yes I get that it has the disclaimer that its while supplies last but you'd think they would remove the "includes this thing" advertise if they have ran out of that thing. A couple of days delay I can understand, but at this point this is just misleading the customer into purchasing directly from them (and at a slower shipping time than many other places). Hopefully this review will save others from making the same mistake.
