Pokémon Shining Pearl - Nintendo Switch

im really happy with this remake i played the first one. pokemon all getting XP just being in the team is great, so many things feel good coming back to modern pokemon years later. and with the free to play pokemon arena coming at some point i wanted to get a team ready

so excited, dowloading into switch rn

I love this remake of a beloved pokemon.

I love the game. It came earlier then order which I expected from ordering with Walmart. The game play was spectacular and the graphics was great; the game wholesomely gave me nostalgia, I kept being reminded of indigo lead which I had played when I was a kid. So I recommend this game to buy for yourself or a gift for someone. Also if your having a tough time on something in game just watch a youtube video or google it specifically. And trading for Pokémon to finish your Pokédex helps you move quickly in the game but make sure you have one or two sets of teams leveled up for battles. Also a lucky egg helps you earn xp, you can buy the egg at bp or you can find the egg inside the icy cave in the grand underground, and also you can steal the egg in battle from chansey or if you have a chansey your raising they'll give you there egg.

I never played the DS originals of Diamond or Pearl. All elements of this game are completely new to me. I'm really enjoying the art style which I saw a lot of complaints about. I think it looks really charming. I think the over-world is a little too simplistic to match the grid based tiles of the old games but the battles look great. I do wish you could see Pokemon wandering around like other Pokémon Switch games have done. Music is pleasant. Story so far has been your average Pokémon adventure. Overall it's a fine game. I like that it feels like an old school Pokémon adventure. If you'd like something a bit more modern feeling, get Pokémon Legends Arceus.

This could've been so much better. It's basically wearing a “Let's Go Evee” skin and does not have nearly the amount of Pokémon that the original DS version did. I'm not sure how they took a game originally released on the DS a decade earlier and made the graphics worse? Kind of a cash grab but does have some nostalgia to it. It would've been worth may $30-35 but not the full price.

Pick up is way too slow

Ordered but never received from Walmart delivery and they won't replace or refund. Sent pictures showing was clearly delivered to wrong house but still nothing. I would recommend only getting if you can pick up in store.

Game was never left at my house they just took a picture of the front of my neighborhood and marked it as delivered
