this is my favorite, highquality cold pressed olive oil. I add to rice dishes and to egg and breakfast foods on am.
I love grapeseed oil it is excellent for more than just cooking with. It is excellent for hair and skin as well. this product is a great value and quality.
I love using this group see all I just purchased some more this week I use it to roast my potatoes in the oven I use it to roast my bell peppers and onions all of my vegetables there's no aftertaste I love it it's my go-to grape seed oil and a reasonable price at Walmart as well
This is not only great for high heat cooking but I mix it with olive and Vit E oil to apply to my face after cleansing daily. My skin is very youthful. A beautician told me it is a strengthening and healthy oil for black womens hair also - as a heat treatment or mixed with hair moisturizer.
Has no taste, which is what you want when frying foods at higher temps. Doesn't burn and works perfect with pan fried steaks, fried eggs, etc. Cheaper than avocado oil while working just as well. My go-to for oil and I'll only use my olive oil for salads now.
Using pompeian as my cooking oil has been a game changer, since researching 13 years ago and finding that this is a healthier option, grapeseed oil and coconut oil are better when it comes to cooking, they're more expensive when it comes to quantity, but I rather have quality, it still fried everything crispy just like the other unhealthy alternatives like canola, vegetable and corn, so there's no trade off just lesser saturated fats and hydrogenated fatty oils that don't do your system any good.
I spray it on everything I air fry...The meat comes out juicy instead of dry. It's also good to use to fry with. The meat and fries come out crispy and it doesn't taste heavy. I just love it!! I wouldn't go back to using vegetable or corn oil at all.
I use a lot of different cooking oils. I cook every day because we do hello fresh. This didn't disappoint in the cast iron. I never really cooked with grapeseed oil but it was recommended to try on reddit because I notice my pan was getting sticky on one side from using veg. oil. If I am not using avocado oil I always get this. I think the taste is decent and cooking in it has saved my cast iron. Only reason it got a four is because I do like another brand that is expensive. But still it is a great option just wish it didn't go quick.
This is a excellent choice if you fry something on a high temperature, when neither olive oil, nor corn oil can handle it. Wouldn't recommend for salads since it has no strong taste, but that's a personal reference. The only reason for giving four stars is a plastic bottle.
Cannot locate much information about any Congeners produced when this oil is heated. That said it is a "seed" oil some are frowned upon now days. That said, for the big griddle it works well to season and treat the cooking surface.
