Pompeian Organic Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 48 fl oz

This Pompeian Organic Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil is sooOOoo great. The taste is one of the best on the market. I eat organic as much as I can, and the price for this brand, plus the fact that it's robust and extra virgin, is a win-win. I absolutely love drizzling olive oil over my sliced tomatoes, then splashing on coconut aminos. If you haven't tried that mix, give it a go, but be careful, it's addictive...hahaha.

We have been buying this olive oil for the last ten years and we are happy with the way it tastes and the fact it is organic, first cold pressed and extra virgin olive oil. We do not use it for cooking. We may add it to a few dishes after cooking and we use it for salad dressing.

organic and first cold press is a must for me. there may be some that taste a tiny bit better, but they are more expensive.

I like the flavor of this olive oil and it is always consistent. Good value when you buy a 48 ounce bottle.

Tunisia, Portugal, and Spain. So taste, freshness, polyphenol levels suffer. Makes it more affordable, but at a cost. I wish it was in a glass container, instead of plastic. Still has a good "bite", but there are obviously better, though probably more expensive choices out there.

The product itself is excellent. However, it was shipped with another food item and there was no packing material in the bag at all. The plastic bottle containing the oil has a big dent in the front. It doesn't look like it leaked or opened, but - hey - just practical common sense would demand some padding.

I used this oil for years before learning about 100% failing of UC Davis EV00 oil samples tests right after I just ordered a 1.5 liter battle. I will try to return it and get another brand. Advice: do your research before settling with food items.
