I had used this for decades until makeup wipes came out. I tried so many different brands of makeup wipes. While some broke me out, what mattered most is that they just didn't remove makeup as well as Ponds. Absolutely nothing of reasonable price on the market removed makeup like Ponds. It does leave a slight oily residue to my skin that I'm not crazy about, but that's because it's moisturizing. I just wash my face after using it, and I'm good to go. It leaves my face with a smoothness that is amazing, and I will never use anything else for makeup removal again. Everyone that uses makeup should have this in their kit.
Even in my late 70's, people say I have beautiful skin. I attribute that partly to using Pond's Cold Cream for 45 years. It's the best make-up remover and skin moisturizer ever. After removing the cold cream, wash your face with mild soap and wash cloth. Dry your skin and apply night moisturizer.
This is a very inexpensive cream to remove dirt and makeup! The scent is very mild...I am very sensitive to smells and this does not bother me. No itching or burning sensations. Women have used this cream for decades so give it a try. Department store cosmetics are not the only answer to good skincare!
If you use retin A and your skin peels Ponds cleansing cream is a must. I put it on in the morning and leave it while I drink coffee usually 30 min and then scrub my face really good exfoliating cloth so that my skin doesn't flake. I also use it to remove my makeup easily. If you have oily skin consider using a face wash after. If you have dry skin it will not be necessary.
i have used ponds cold cream on and off for years ive tried other makeup removers but this is truly something special. i wear alot of makeup and this removes it all very gently and even when i try something new i always come back to this. theres a reason its been a favorite for so long with several generations
I stopped and I thought perhaps I won't write a review. Well, hum…I love ponds cold cream! My mother used it a long time ago to take off her eye makeup. It's so gentle on the eyes and I believe it's better than any high-end make up remover. So if I shared my joy with 1000 billion people, I might never find it on the shelf again. Please keep it in stock.
I have used Ponds Cold Cream for years. It gets off matte lipstick, all make up with ease. A little goes a long way. I use make up removal wipes not a wash cloth. Never use a wash cloth on your face. I love everything about this product. I definitely recommend itk!
For years now, I have used Ponds for my facial cleansing, softening, and moisturizing. Being 82, it is not worth trying other brands. I am so glad you carry Ponds, along with other personal need items. Thank you for being here for us. Darla.........
Ponds has changed! The scent is terrible. Very chemically smelling. plus it burned my eyes when removing my eye make-up. Felt like whipped cream in the jat. Very light but felt horrible on my skin, vey greasy. I had to wash my face immediately and then it still felt greasy. My eyes not only burned but were red rimmed for several hours. Definitely returning. Definitely never buying again. Its a shame as I started using Ponds as a teenager 50 years ago, just like my mom. I always enjoyed the smell of ponds before the change as it reminded me of my mom as well.
After reading the reviews for this and having so many positive, I thought I would give it a try for my sensitive dry skin. I guess I should have known better, never the less here we are. It was easy to apply and it didn't feel bad when I was cleansing my face. The problem came after that. I did what others said they did and tried to use a little more to moisturize before bed. Not only did it feel incredibly greasy, but it gave me big red welts. ~sigh~ Not for me. I was really hoping to safe some money by using this simple product. Not so much.
