Porch Swing Hanging Kit

I bought these to hang up a porch swing in a screened in porch. They are not too difficult to install. You definitely want to drill a pilot hole and then use a drill on a low speed with a ratchet bit if you have one. It gets kind of tiring holding your arms up and ratcheting these bolts down with a normal ratchet wrench. And you obviously want to make sure you are screwing the bolts into a stud that is secure. The hanging kit itself works great. My wife, 2 kids and I can all easily sit on the swing and thats with me weighing about 210 lbs. it also swings pretty well with no squeaking.

We ordered these at the same time we ordered our swing. They are easy to install and they look nice. I was a little surprised when I realized they appear to be plastic. It must be some very strong plastic because they do their job well. The swing feels secure and works like it should.

I purchased this hardware for the swing. They are very sturdy, and I love the security of that. I highly recommend this hardware if you're hanging a swing.

Just put up a porch swing with the hanging kit. Wish I would have done this 20 years ago. And...you can't have a swing without the spring hanging kit. I've been on my swing everyday since it was installed last week. The quality of the swing and the hanging kit is great.

These are wonderful hangers! At first I was concerned thinking the hangers were made of plastic because they are so light but after researching, no they are not made of plastic! They are made of metal coated in plastic to prevent rusting and ensure a smooth motion. And the springs are awesome. I used these two hangers individually, to hang two one-seat wrought iron swings, rather than one porch swing, and they worked great!

These were pretty easy to install and have a nice clean finished look. They seem strong and sturdy. I would buy them again.

This product is made of a composite material that is incredibly strong. Have used it in the past and will use it again in the future

The hardware is sturdy and the springs add comfort to our porch swing. However, pay close attention to the picture - the brackets are emerald green - which for some reason was not entirely what I was expecting. It appears that they could be painted over to match the trim on our porch.

Great service--item arrived early! BUT--be aware that these are not made of metal, with the exception of the eyelet screw. Not sure how these will hold up over time, but so far so good. The springs are just the right amount of tension for shock absorption and a little bounce. Used them individually to hang two hammock chairs and they worked well for that purpose.
