Very responsive and sleek controller, fits well in your hand. Backpaddles are a nice addition. Only downside is with the price comes quality, sometimes the stocks lose their firmness and become loose in the socket. Usually fine if the game you're playing has the ability to change the deadzone. Other than that, great controller for the price!
Controller works as expected and I love being able to get rear paddles for this price point. However, the right joystick has extremely minor drift (to be expected from a cheap controller) and I've been told my mic audio is worse when I'm plugged into this controller. Overall, you're getting a good value though since it's so cheap!
reasonable for to he price point...the left joystick drifts after normal use. for me about two months. Despite that got usage out of it before the problem occurred. the lower price compared to other sites...still makes it more reasonable than most corded controllers.
Controller feels durable and like it can withstand a good amount of abuse. I'm hard on controllers and this feels like it's built well and like I don't have to worry about breaking it. It also eliminated the lag from control input completely and has the added benefit of never having to replace batteries again midway through a game.
This controller has additional features from a regular Xbox controller and functions well for what it is, a cheap replacement for the original controller. The extra back buttons are a nice feature to have but confusing to set up. The built in headset controls are also a nice feature to have. The triggers feel cheap but that's expected for a controller at this price point. It's also disappointing that the connector uses micro-USB instead of USB-C. It's not a controller I would use on a daily basis but is good for guests or children who you don't want ruining your main controllers.
I bought this controller in April. Today, late July, it slipped out of my hand and fell a foot to the floor. It no longer turns on. I've had a PowerA that withstood actual rage abuse for a long time, but this one died to a light fall. They must be making them cheaper now.
I got this controller as a spare and to compare it to my other controllers.. to be honest man, if you're not willing to spend an extra 20-30$ on a standard microsoft xbox controller, don't buy this. But buy it at your own risk. Other thoughts: i've personally owned PDP and PowerA controllers in the past, and hadn't had the “best experience”.. if you're looking for a good budget controller.. go for the PDP Afterglow! I had it for 3 years and i wasn't disappointed.
When I first got the controller, it was amazing. The color was beautiful. There was no stick drift. The paddles were in perfectly, and it was better than anything I could ever ask for. Later on, the controller started to lag more and it wasn't even my Wi-Fi because my ping was on six. the right stick of the controller started to drift horrendously, and there was nothing I could do to fix it. It wasn't even like a normal type of stick drift. This was the worst type of stick drift I've ever experienced in all my years of gaming do not recommend buying this product.
Almost every controller I've purchased from this store has seemed to have already been used. This controller specifically already had paint falling off and the rubber was torn up signifying prior use. It had stick drift out of the box as well as loose parts from terrible handling from whoever last had this controller. Nearly everything including headsets showed signs of already being used, re-boxed, and sold as if it was a new device. I highly recommend buying from Amazon or a gaming store as any controller I've bought from them had no issues and looked brand new.
i placed a order at 7:11am EST and did not get any notice until 7:16pm EST and, it was a text photo of my order by the wrong door of my residence, the downstairs door, i live upstairs. I was never contacted until 12 hours later. I'm lucky my order was not stolen off my porch. Horrible service on Walmarts behalf.
