Prang Colored Pencil Set, 36 Colors

these pencils are so awesome i bought 2 for myself one for a friend and one for my mom We have all 3 taken up coloring and these pencils are wonderful..I had crayola and they dont come close to the quality of these..and if you need and excellent sharpener buy the x-acto XLR W25K1168 sold here on walmart.com

After extensive review and research, my choice for Prang Colored Pencils has met my expectations!! Each pencil is pre-sharped and feels good in my hand; these pencils are bigger in dia. than the first set I've used. The color spectrum provides a wide range to experiment blending of shades and accents, another HUGE plus are the added Gold and Silver pencils in this set!! Overall Prang Colored Pencils are an excellent value for artist no matter the level of experience.

I really love the brilliant colors and how easily they blend. I recommend this product to everyone.

THIS ITEM SHOULD BE SHIPPED IN A BOX, NOT A BAG. THE BAG GAVE THE PENCILS THE CHANCE TO SHIFT AROUND IN THEIR BOX AND BUNCH UP IN A PILE, NOT STAY LAYING FLAT, SO I AM HOPING THAT NON OF THE LEADS ARE BROKEN INSIDE THE PENCIL.

Many of my friends are artist and these are the same colored pencils they use. The price was really good for the quality of the strokes that you get. It would be overkill to give to a child but is great for someone who dabbles in art.

I haven't used the Prang Colored Pencils yet however, I am looking forward to using them. The colors are nice and I can't wait to use them with water as they are water paint pencils.

It was cool that they already had a point and the color selection is not bad. No repeats. The pencil itself, easy to sharpen. The colors that I have used so far is close enough to what it should be that I am happy. I am going to buy another set for when they get too short to use.

These pencils are OK. After reading the reviews I really thought the quality would be a little better than this. For adult coloring a softer "lead" would make for better blending of colors. These can't be blended and the colors laid down aren't bright. Oh well, better luck next purchase!

I was looking for colored pencils for adult coloring books. These colored pencils are nothing special. They perform like Crayola or Rose Art pencils. The colors are not bright at all, so if a person is looking for colors that really stand out, these are not the pencils for you. If you are looking for the ordinary school supply pencils, these will fit the bill. These work okay for children's coloring books, but serious adult coloring should be done with a higher quality product.

I can't leave feedback on the pencils themselves. I had them shipped to store. When I opened them at home over half of the leads were broken and two pencils were missing. Returning them on my next trip to WalMart was easy. The Prang pencils may have been a quality product but I suggest you go to the store and pick out your own box instead of having them shipped.
