PRCTZ, 35lb Rubber Encased Hex Dumbbell, Single

Comfortable grip. Nice look. Minimal rubber smell (mentioning it because some reviewers complained about it). Not overpriced, unlike almost any other dumbbell on almost any other site at the moment. (It is sold as a pair, but I didn't fully believe it was REALLY a pair --rather than a single -- until I opened the box.)

Perfect weight dumbbells to work out with. They are easy to grip when picking up and setting down and do not slip out of your hand at all. The rubber encased weight on each end makes it softer to set down without damaging your floors or making a large noise. The hex design is perfect so that they don't roll around. Dry easy to use and a great addition to a workout.

These weights are very nice! They have a metal bar handle with a heavy rubber end. Very durable with nice grip bars.These are a very nice size weight for r a light workout.A really nice set heavy duty.The only downside is I have had these for about two weeks and they have like a rubber plastic smell that is a strong odor as soon as I opened the box . They still have a smell and I am hoping with time they will air out.

During the early stages of this pandemic, other sites were price gouging weights, but Walmart wasn't. I bought a few of these PRCTZ dumbbells to equip my home gym. Very good quality and price. Strange rubber or oil smell initially, but that odor wore off after a few days.

I like these hex dumbbells because they are a nice weight, feel really solid while using them, and have a really great grip. I like that the ends are rubber-encased so that they don't mark up any surface where I would set them (the floor, the table, etc.) and between the hexagon shape and the rubberized ends, there is literally no way these bad boys are rolling out from under me when I switch up my moves. I think these are a great quality and I plan to add more sizes into my set- they'll really come in handy for different exercises!

I got this set for my husband and he absolutely loves them! The bar is easy to hold and is not slippery at all which is a good thing when he sweats. I like the fact that the weights are rubber, he had nudged his toe and he said the pain would've been worse if they were metal. The price is amazing also! They are very durable, buy these, you will not regret it

These dumbbells are perfect for an in home set up. They're small enough that you can tuck them into a corner of the living room to keep them out of the way, and pull them out when you need them. I haven't had any issues with slipping, as the grip on the handles is really nice.

I got these for my 9 y.o. son. He struggles with outdoor activity in the summer months and wanted to work a little on building muscle. He has autism and ADHD, and muscle strength and tone has always been a struggle for him. He chose the 8 pound weights because it would challenge him and I felt this was a good place to start. The dumbbells themselves are sturdy and of great quality. The metal handles are riveted with a hex design to minimize slipping/ increase grip control which was important for my son. As was the rubber coating of the weights to minimize noise if (when) he drops them. As well, I use the dumbbells with my workout videos. They're a bit too heavy for cardio, but I am working up to it. For now, I use them for curls, shrugs, and fly exercises. I have larger hands for a female, and there is room to spare on the handles. Highly recommended for anyone trying to get their physical fitness back under control.

The weight itself is nice; good grip, awesome price given the prices of some weights currently. However, the smell is AWFUL. As soon as they came out of the box, all I could smell was almost like cigarette smoke. Each time Im done using them, I have to air them outside because the room will start to smell in the area that they are sitting in

These dumbbells are normal and functional in the grip and weight. However, the dye on the rubber coated weights comes off and leaves a stain. We had a light-colored workout rug and everywhere we placed these weights, it left a dark brown-like stain. As soon as we noticed this, I spray cleaned them with a mild cleanser and a white cloth. The cloth turned dark brown where I cleaned. Even after they dried, I could still get some color off of this rubber with a paper towel. We don't want to use them on this light-colored workout rug, but we shouldn't have to clean the carpet (the stains don't come out well) when we use them.
