I've used this product for years and it definitely controls weed growth. I always had good luck applying it after planting my flowers and shrubs being careful not to apply preen directly on the plants. I water the treated soil then mulch on top of the treated area. Water per your plants requirements and you'll have far less weeding throughout your summer.

I use Preen Weed Preventer every Fall to prevent weeds from germinating in the Spring in my stone landscaping. Works beautifully!

right size and good price

I purchased this product previously from a different store at the recommendation of an employee. I only have to use it twice a year. I use this product in conjunction with Roundup weed killer spray. It's a great pre-emergent.

In Florida, with the long rainy season, it does not appear that the product works for 6 months. Definitely recommend in areas of flowerbeds (not vegetables or fruit) to help cut down on manual weeding

Price just keeps going up, but keeps most weeds suppressed, (not all that it lists). The Southern formula was better, but can't be found anymore.

Ok a little expensive

I bought this product as a recommendation from a friend and some of the comments regarding the product! Although, I saw Negative ones too. I should have taken heed to the later!!!!! It's “Supposed” to be a “Weed Killer”-but it's more like a “Weed Fertilizer”!!!!! I weed rated first and then put it around the parameter of my yard and around other areas that I wanted weeds to be gone and it was watered afterwards! That has been around a week ago and Nothing but More WEEDS and GRASS HAS ACCRUED in those areas!!!! I am Requesting a REFUND $51.00 change just for the product-that's not including my time, labor, and water that was “WASTED” on this product!

Arrived damaged with contents spilling.

It has not controlled weeds as promised. I purchased 3 of these and expected some weeds to grow back as they were possibly already germinated, however, the product was put down in March and I am experiencing new baby weeds as of this minute. Have purchased another product and so far, no new weeds with it where applied.
