Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Sun and Shade, 20 lbs.

I got lucky - put the grass seed down just as we finally got sone much needed rain! The cool weather is helping, too. I expect to be able to cut the new grass in another 2-3 weeks.

Too soon to say how this batch is working. But I’ve used this product many times in the past. Always from big box home improvement stores. This was an online purchase at a greatly reduced price. Easy to use and has always filled in spots in our lawn!

this product worked fairly well to fill in some of the gaps. my lawn does look more full or I used the seed this spring and early summer, then it did last year. it also seems to have squeezed out some of the weeds as I have fewer weeds than I have had in the past. it was very easy to apply just follow the directions. do it at the right time of year and keep it went for a couple of weeks and perhaps it will work out for you as well.

I had a small patch that used to be grass. Very soon it will be again. Followed the directions. In picture I submitted please ignore the weeds. They will be gone as soon as the grass is better rooted! It's about two weeks since I applied the product.

Maybe it's user error. Or perhaps it's just not that great. This product did nothing for my lawn's bald spots. The idea is great and the application is easy, though. You'd be better off just getting some top soil and a bag of seed, though. Oh well, was worth a shot.

I had pulled up some tree roots in my yard due to a tree that was cut down by my home's prior owner. due to that, there was some major holes. I did everything that I was directed to do per the instructions on the container and it only grew a few weeds and that's it.

Germination was very low or nonexistent. It may have been last years product and wasn't stored well. My recommendation: ensure the product you buy is the current year. And not a holdover.

Scotts reported this repair seed would definitely grow in sun or shade. Its junk. comes up very briefly then goes completely brown and dries out. I followed all instructions. Junk! Don't waste your money, energy, or time. Very expensive disappointment. 😞
