This not only works on grub control! I use GrubEx to keep the moles from digging up the yard. I'm convinced the pesticide is an irritant to those pesky moles!
I put down in the spring for my North east location and I haven't had grubs in years. This really works just remember mid/late spring application on cool season lawns
Kept me from getting Army Worms last year, while everybody else had them! Even the lawn connected to mine and the wild field had them! I bought again this year!
I used this last year and didn't have any grub issues. Thankful that there's a product out there that can control these little beasts. I ordered two bags already and I'm prepared for this year!
Scott's GrubX was highly recommended to me. I had ordered a spreader with it from Walmart and for some reason they canceled the delivery. I thought it was because they didn't have it in the store so I checked the store and they had 4 spreaders left so I ordered one and it should be here by Wednesday. Until then I can't comment on the GrubX
Grub X does exactly what it says. It gets rid of the grubs and therefore the moles goes to somebody else's yard. I noticed that my yard is rather bumpy so I'm assuming that that's where the moles tunnels are collapsing when I walk over them or go over them with my scooter. It's easy to spread. You use a spreader that you use to spread grass or fertilizer and wait on the rain.
I applied Scotts GrubEx in early May this year after spotting the first June bugs around my property. Now it's mid-July and I haven't seen any grub damage at all. That's a big win compared to last year, when I applied it in mid-June—too late. By then, the grubs were already mature and tore up a good portion of my St. Augustine lawn. GrubEx seems to work very well if you get the timing right. It took me a few seasons to learn that the key is hitting it early, before the grubs hatch. This year, I nailed the timing and my lawn is in great shape. The only downside is the price—it's not cheap. I'm hoping one application per year is enough. That said, it's still a lot cheaper than replacing a damaged lawn. Bottom line: Effective product, just be sure to apply it early in the season. I'd recommend it.
Best stuff to prevent Grubs it's my go to product every Spring
We have used this product many times over the years, and we never had positive results. We irrigate the lawn or we put it out just before a good rain and still have grub issues. I've calibrated my spreader and applied the product at the correct application rate but still experiencing grub infestations.
Product was unavailable when I picked up my order despite confirming 100% of my order. Delivery was scheduled to my home next day and no delivery. Next 3-5 days delivery was promised and never delivered. Walmart finally cancelled my order 1 week later.
