I've used this product successfully before and can't find it locally due to it being a seasonal item. It arrived earlier than was first communicated and was packaged effectively

When spring comes, I weed my garden with a weed pole, easy, pick up some big ones, plant my new annuals and apply preen. No weeds grow. After a few weeks I turn my soil a bit with my weed tool and apply again. I love it. I like a weed free garden bed.

Have used this product for years. It works as specified on product package.

Works really good on perennial plants in my yard as well as the grass. Best time to put it out is in the fall before the cold weather.

Could not live without this product! The growing season for weeds in Houston is basically 12 months/year - there are spring weeds and then there are winter weeds. This product nearly eliminates garden weeds - very effective controlling all we have to deal with in Houston.

Preen is a brand name and a registered trademark. I would never purchase an off-brand and expect it to work like Preen does. Frequent, very frequently, off brand products do not offer the same quality as brand name products. Therefore I do not buy them.

I did extensive research on availability and product characteristics, easily applied the product, with success in applying the product with minimum waste dust while applying the product. and the uniform size/mass distribution of the product resulted in a satisfactory - uniform distribution on the product on my front landscape and the product is not noticeable on the ground. The Walmart product price resulted in a substantial cost reduction. I used a hand-held applicator on a windy day; I was pleasantly surprised by the very low amount of dust.

I used this product last year to cover my weed prone decorative rock front and back yards. Applied it in the early spring and it cut the weed population to almost zero. Great product! The only drawback for this year is you must apply it just before it rains or you need to water it in. No rain yet and my yards are too big to hand water. Hopefully, it will rain soon!
