Prep Solutions Durable Manual Can Opener with Comfort Grip Handles

I like this can opener so much that I used the Google search to find it again. I had one of these for years and it broke. I went to Walmart and couldn't find it and bought a different kind. Didn't like it so searched and found it on their website and ordered it online right away. Went and picked it up the next day and I'm happy again.

I am constantly going through can openers they just keep breaking on me but I bought this one and it's amazing by far the best and most durable I have ever had

I needed a can opener. I wasn't sure based on the reviews but this was the best and economical that I saw. I bought this for my daughters home as she had 2 perfectly good looking one but neither of them worked. I crossed my fingers and placed the order. I must have opened 12 cans with it right after I unpacked it. It works as a decent can opener should. Living its purpose. The price was great!

Perfect old school can opener - the only type I use. Needed to get another one to outfit my RV and this is the perfect choice!

i dont like electric can openers. this manual one is easy to use and it doesnt hurt my arthritic hands.

Our prior can opener broke so I just found a cheap one to replace it- and I wasn't expecting it to be so smooth and easy when using for a handheld opener! Very pleased!!

I just received the Prep Solutions Can Opener and haven't used it yet. I assume it will work, but the description says dishwasher safe, but that is not what it says on the product packaging. They sure don't make can openers like they used to. This is the sixth can opener in my purchase history in less than a year, not including some I have purchased in store.

It's hard to explain, but the first turn or two (about 1/2 inch), starts to open the can as it should, and with the next turn the angle changes and it is no longer working. I thought maybe I had a bent can so I tried it on several. Same thing. I bought it for a vacation rental I own, but it was the last day there, so I didn't have time to return it to see if maybe it was defective. Also, if there was a place on walmart's site to ask product questions, I would have asked if maybe I was doing something wrong. But since that isn't an option, I went ahead and wrote this review.

When washing it water gets caught in the handles. You can hear it swooshing around. I returned it but I'm sure the metal part that meets the handle will eventually rust.

After the first few uses, it would not attach to the can properly so that it would not open a can. I have no idea why but it would not stay clamped to the can to open it.
