Prep Solutions Rotary Chopper and Dicer with Easy-Clean Design

This chopper is so easy to use it is definitely a must buy! I cook with peppers and onions multiple times a day so this has become a staple in my kitchen! The clean up is extremely easy also and yes I would most certainly recommend this to any and everyone!

I had this style chopper in the past and I was constantly tapping it on the counter to move the contents under the blade. This chopper fixes that problem with a sweeping arm that moves around the edge every time you drop the blades to chop. I tried it out with Garlic, which I don't like to cut by hand. The chopper did an excellent job of mincing up the garlic for me. The chopper is built well, but the one that could be improved is when washing in the dishwasher the handled fill with water, so I had to sit it out to dry.

Finally my life has been made so much easier when it comes to cooking. I hate cutting up vegetables and stuff and now I actually enjoy it because I know it will be done quickly. I do it mostly when I make vegetable soup or a roast. It's so easy to use too.

I am extremely picky about certain vegetables like onions, and I will not eat them unless they are super small pieces. This makes it so easy to get the flavor I want without the time it takes to chop by hand. It's really easy to use and clean up. I love this!

I had one of these, many years ago when it first came out, but a different brand name. I remember trying to use it, but the thing always jammed and didn't really work that great. I was unsure if this one would just be an identical item, but there are a few improvements in the design. I like to make my own salsas, and that was what I originally intended my first one for. So, I gave this one a go, and I am really liking it. This one has a little plastic scraper piece that scrapes the sides as you go. I do remember the stuff just al hiding around the edge of the cup when I used my old one. The spring in the handle that is smacked down also has some pretty good power. I was easily able to cut through some tough old carrots, I was surprised. There is a plastic disc that slides down over the blades, so you can easily take apart and rinse. I have small children now, who like to tell me cook when they can, so this is a lot safer than handing them a sharp knife. Very handy, I'll be using this for many things including my omelette admins, and fruit salads. Cleans easy and is dishwasher safe. Would recommend this kitchen gadget.

I was skeptical at first because I had something similar years ago that just didn't work. Pleased to discover that the slap chop does work. Chops small items like nuts and veggies into diced pieces easily and fast. I hate having to slice/dice/chop with a knife, as it can be so time consuming. This has cut my food prep time in half. I don't hand wash it, just give it a quick rinse and put it in the dishwasher. Just remember to "slap chop" it, pushing it down slowly doesn't work.

The people saying it doesn’t chop aren’t using enough force. You really have to pound the handle. Problem with that is the plastic holding the handle in the unit starts to bend and then it’s hard to keep the handle in the unit without it popping out. Mine lasted 6 months until I needed to replace it.

I'm sorry but with all the work this thing takes, I would rather just cut the vegetables up myself, it would be much faster, less time consuming, and less effort. This is because you still have to cut the vegetables into smaller pieces before using the chopper to cut them up and then you have to try and clean the device, which is nearly impossible without being able to take it apart. If you can't clean it well after each use, it's not worth anything.

Barely chopped nut pieces. Cannot take apart top to clean blades. The only thing good was the rotating sweeper. I lost my receipt so I'm putting it in the yard sale..

What a waste this was. I used this for one meal and threw it away. I first cut an onion into several pieces so I could place it in the chopper. It practically pulverized and masked the onion. I then cut a red pepper into multiple pieces and was able to chop one piece. On the second piece the chopper did not even break the skin. It took me triple the time to try to do what I had completed. The shopper went in the trash, never be used again.
