Prep Solutions Safe Prep Multi Slicer

the only problem I have with this item is the front chute comes off pretty easily while using the item.

I'm absolutely in love with this. i hate doing prep. And this is a huge asset for me in the kitchen Since I am a huge fan of convenience. especially when i'm cooking

the chute is a little small for even a half of an onion, and the slices arent very great thicknesses. it also does not wash easily by hand but it does do what i need it to do.

the item is nice. it does do what it advertises. however, as i cut my veggies the "spout" where you put the veggies and push down, constantly popped off. thank God for the blade guard.

The Chute on the front of the slicer has two clips on either side to hold it to the mandolin. However, if you put ANY pressure on those clips (the weight of a fruit or vegetable, your hand, the pressure of the protector pushing the item into the mandolin), it pops off, and your hand gets seriously close to the blades! This happened so often that I became seriously concerned that I was going to get cut. I will be returning this mandolin due to its faulty design.

product looks and works about at it's price point which is cheap. honestly though it's more of a hassle to get out and use and clean up than just being precise with a knife. it isn't very sturdy and there are just better, albeit more expensive, products on the market that i feel would be more worth the expense.

It had cucumber and radish pieces sticking between the blade and back of mandolin thus not falling into bowl and causing it to clog up. Wouldn't buy it again.

I have a similar slicer at my main address, but needed one here. Although this looks very similar, the build quality is horrid. The chute kept coming off, and the machine refused to stay on a thinner slicing mode - it kept reverting to the thickest mode. I was slicing potatoes, and didn't even get half way through when I had to pull out a knife and finish the job. DO NOT purchase this - there are much better choices.

Broken when I got the item. Wal-mart told me that i didn't need to return it to get a refund so I threw it away then 3 days after I get an email telling me that my refund will be processed once item is returned

Too much pressure required to slice - any form - esp. potatoes. Very hard to clean - vegetables come out of the bottom onto the counter as well as into the tray!! messy
