Prep Solutions Stainless Steel Rasp Fine Grater with Soft Grip and Protective Cover

It was amazing. How many different options are available for this type of cooking tool. Sometimes when I think about the cost of different types of produce, we need to flavor dishes and in some citrus fruits, like lemons and oranges so much of that flavor and essential oils are in the skin. Not only does it help for that applications, but whether you're grinding fresh spices like nutmeg or cinnamon or you're trying to get some of your finer cheese like San wheels are Romano this is the simplest tool, but I could not believe how inexpensive it was and so grateful that Walmart carried this product.!

WOW! How did I zest citrus and feather shred hard cheeses before this??? Amazing kitchen tool, sharp grating side, easy zest collector when underside faces up when zesting citrus, easy clean, safe storage plastic guard included. Every cook should have a few of these!

I bought this to use for zesting lemons and it worked very well for that. The zest is fine and incorporates well into baked goods. The zester is sharp and works very quickly as well. I haven't tried this for hard cheese but imagine it would work well for that as well. My only complaint is that the zester seems overly long and takes up some space in the drawer.

The one I ordered was not available this was a substitute and it is excellent way better than the original one , bonus is the cost was less.

The reviews were right, this fine grater is one of the best I've owned. Easy to use and even easier to clean.

I cant believe I waited so long to buy this. I love using it in my kitchen.

I like that it comes with a cover over the raspy blades, so as to keep it safe when not in use.

I like the overall shape, handle is pretty nice since it's easy to control but the blades are a little fine for cheese the way I typically use hard cheeses. I think it would serve very well for making citrus zest but haven't yet tried it for that. The "Would you recommend?" offers either 'yes' or 'no' without room for qualifications so I say "yes" depending on what you intend to use it for. The metal is on the thin side and where most manufacturers add a rounded metal sleeve along the edges of a grater to strengthen it on this grater they simply stamped it out of a flat sheet of sharpened grater material and folded the edges to strengthen it. This did provide sufficient strengthening but is difficult to clean. Grater supplied with hardened plastic storage sheath which would protect it from damage from other metal items if stowed in a drawer but the sheath is also a little difficult to clean. It ain't love but it will do.

Broke in the middle of the metal after 3 lemons. Straight garbage
