It's hard to find shoe storage that isn't crazy expensive or obviously look like it is utility storage. This unit had an acceptable price point, and fits well at the entry of our house. We used to have a big shoe rack with those metal bars, but it kept coming apart. We temporarily used a bookcase, but it didn't hold as many shoes due to the wide spacing between the shelves. That's when I searched and found this option. From the side, it looks like a bookcase, which is how most people will see it in our house. But from the front it looks well organized and gives us some more room for our shoes. The quality is what I expected. The coating scratches VERY easily, so be careful during assembly! I do wish that it had some room at the bottom for boots. I tried not putting some of the horizontal dividers in, but it looks silly since the vertical slat is cut for them. You might could try to match some contact paper or duct tape to match and cover this, but I didn't want to worry about it and ended up just leaving my boots to the side with all dividers in place. Overall, it's a nice addition to our home and gives our shoes a nice place to reside.

Fairly easy assembly but def for 2 people. It's heavy! Quality is ok for the money. The cubbies are a bit small. I can fit my skinnier shoes side by side but my husband has to put one shoe on its side. He is a size 9 men, so bigger shoes will take up a whole cubby. Thin cubby shelving looks like it may sag on the sides after a year. We'll see. Looks good in my alcove.

I think the price was a little high compared to a few other shoe storage items I found. I purchased this one due to the dimensions.

Shoe squares could be a bit larger Otherwise that it's nice to have your footwear in one place. Easy to put together

This shoe cabinet arrives completely disassembled. It's horrible trying to put it together. The only reason I kept it was because it's box got thrown away

Putting all the cans in first is not a good idea, because when we were putting the bottom part together we had to force the cams out (which was a feat in itself but through You Tube videos it worked) and then reinsert them to make everything flush. That 5-minute page took at least 45 minutes-- just ridiculous! This should have cost way under $100. Ikea makes better products than this for way less and better pictured instructions. I DI NOT recommended this product at all.
