They can be very uncomfortable, painful, and itchy which makes it hard to sit down or just function normally. Just a little bit of the ointment goes a long way. I felt instant relief after applying it, and my hemorrhoids have shrunk a bit after using it as well. Finally a soothing product that is easy to use, and provides quick relief against the pain and itchiness!

But I feel like it is worth mentioning that this stuff is classic for a reason- it works! I've had two kids, and as many mothers would know, sometimes you get side effects that just never seem to go away. I have a persistent, minor, reoccurring hemorrhoid that pops up (literally!) every so often. It's annoying but not serious enough for medical intervention, so I use this ointment and it helps. The annoying thing seems to go right away and leave me alone for a while. No itching or burning- problem solved!

I have tried creams and wipes and nothing helped with the itching and burning until I tried the Preparation H Ointment. It's easy to apply and it works almost instantly. It lasts a long while too. I'm so happy that I was given the opportunity to try this ointment. I was avoiding ointments because I didn't think I would like the feel but I was completely wrong. After applying the ointment you don't even notice it at all and the burning and itching goes away. I'm very happy that I finally found something that really works!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would compare this product to other products in stores because Preparation H has a lot more benefits to it than all these other products it helps with burning, itching and relieves inflammation a lot faster. I definitely knew about Preparation H but I am picky when it comes to trying new things but as soon as I saw the sampling program I knew it was my time. Buying this product would save me so much time, when having hemorrhoids it causes pain but when I buy Preparation H I would feel the pain just go away. I would tell everyone about this product just because it's that good and if it helps me with my hemorrhoid pain why would I not tell people how it can help them too!

Ever since I gave birth to my first child I got hemorrhoids they are painful they extend most of the time I use the restroom I can't even sit or be comfortable. This ointment works good has a good applicator it's a thick texture to have a better result. It don't burn or hurt when applying it. The bottle is easy to apply good packaging and worth the value of the money it does work.

This product has been hard to find in our local stores so to have a double pack at good price helps. Product helps alot.

The hemorrhoidal ointment cream helped me a lot to relieve irritation and discomfort quickly; its texture is soft and easy to apply. What would improve would be the smell, because it can feel a little strong when using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this pain in the rear for several years. I purchased the cream, thinking it would help. It did, temporarily, but it ended up wearing off too fast and just making a mess. So I switched to the ointment, and I'm glad I did. It's a little oily, and hence makes handwashing a bit more of a chore after application, but it seems to last longer and doesn't end up in my underpants like the cream did. As I sit in an office 8 hours a day, I don't foresee this issue ever completely subsiding, so in the future I'll go for the ointment when things flare up again.

I first heard of this product when had a horrendous two hours in hospital getting things shoved back to where they should be. Two days later after using the loo I had severe burning pain and used Preparation H for the first time. The relief was immediate. The instructions on the box and tube are inadequate. The website is much better. I did not realize that the yellow tube was a cover and not the applicator
