i like being able to grip my pots with this mat. i can carry small or large dishes to the table and not drop them due to heat. i also like the ability to use the mat as a trivet. my dishes stay put and dont slide around from liquids or steam. this me at is affordable, attractive, nd has multiple uses. more colors would be great.

I agree with some of the other comments that they shouldn’t package it where there’s two creases that never come out because I’m not using it for the intended purpose. I’m actually using it in my craft room and it needs to be flat. But those creases don’t come out so it causes a bit of an issue. Maybe I’ll try putting it out in our Mojave sun on a flat surface and see if that makes it flat but I’m buying another one to actually use as a microwave pad so I don’t care if it’s bit folded. But why don’t you try rolling it up or packaging it between two cardboard pieces so it’s not and folded when we get it.

Only problem is we could not get it to lay flat being it was packaged folded up , it’s been a while since, have had it in the sun first and now have it in the microwave being used but not flat at all …

Very happy with this purchase, the reason I’m giving it four stars and not five is packaging. It comes out of the packaging kind of bent out of shape.

i bought this for mixing my paints on, because i thought it would be easier to mix on somryhing flat and silicone. it was shipped in a weird packaging , which folded it in have and bent it up like a cup... so it wont sit flat and it s not bent in a way where it would make a bowl... its bent in a way that it makes a Tent... so the paint just runs off the sides.

I bought the exact product years ago and it was great. I loved it and was so excited when I found it again because I burned my old one. The current one was the same item but it was packaged poorly in that it was nicely folded in the package and has permanent creases in it when removed from the package. I actually ordered a second one and it was packaged the same. So, I am disappointed and am writing this rating so that maybe the company can address the packaging. It should be packaged flat or rolled but not folded. I would love to buy it for Christmas presents next year. Unfortunately I am having trouble downloading the photos which would be helpful

This is a good product; however, once unpackaged, it’s wrinkled, and no matter how many hot water washes you give it or try to press it, the wrinkles remain— ugh! The size is nice, cleaning is a breeze, and it handles heat well, so it gets an A for its ease of use.

because is was folded in the cardboard packaging, it won’t lay flat. I soaked it in hot water and used it in the microwave it still has folds

Item was packaged attractively for display and looked to be exactly what I wanted. However once the item was taken out of the cardboard sleeve, it became obvious that the attractive packaging actually damaged the product by causing permanent creases. As a result the product does not lie flat, the creases look bad, and since it's high heat the creases don't come out during use or in the dishwasher. Functionally it works fine, but the packaging engineers need to figure out a different way to box the product without damaging it.
