Low profile and easy to use

I think this is a great salad spinner if you are short on space or don't use one frequently. I bought this to replace a large OXO one that cracked and although I think the OXO worked better I did not use it enough to give a new one that much real estate in my kitchen. I will say that pushing the collapsed spinner out can take a bit of strength and may be difficult for those with dexterity or arthritis issues in their hands.

We owned one like this for years and finally had to replace it. The new spinner is 20% smaller but works ok. The whole had a pull cord to make the basket spin. The new one has a knob that requires you to move your hand in a circle which could be slightly more difficult for some people.

Just received it. So far is works well and is easy to clean. Could be a little less expensive. The collapsible feature is a bonus.

I needed a second (backup) salad spinner and this one is light-weight and spins with little or no effort. These features and the fact that it is collapsible has made it my favorite. The only thing I yearn for is an optional lid to refrigerate the finished salad in the same container.

This salad spinner is very lightweight and probably not really worth getting. It is smaller than the previous one that I had made by the same company and won't handle the same size pieces of lettuce. Also the pulling mechanism frequently gets stuck in one position and it takes a long time to eventually get it moving again so that you can actually get it to spin.
