This is a gift for a grandchild who requested it for Christmas.
This was bought as a gift for my three year old grandson. He loves playing it.
Bday gift for grandson who has not yet opened it. But is what I ordered and it came very quickly.
LOVE this cute game! Thing is, there is NO separate on/off switch. So, when you put it back in the box (which is too small to store all parts in), it turns it's self on. Otherwise, great first game!
It was a cheap game you get what you pay for but I was still very disappointed that the quacking sound stopped after the first day of playing the game. Cheep or not thats a little ridiculous!
When I received this item it was for a Christmas gift for my daughter I was so excited for her to get this and well let's just say it was a big let down i don't know if it's from the warehouse or delivery but the gears sound horrible and the the sound for the ducks sounds more like a dogs squeak chew toy..... needless to say games being ordered online are a no for me!
When my son was a toddler we loved to play Lucky Ducks. I wish I had saved that game! I recently ordered a new Lucky Ducks game to play with my 2 granddaughters. I was pretty disappointed with the sound of the quacking, it doesn't sound at all the same and barely sounds like a duck at all! The game is much smaller than the older version and the ducks are kinda tiny and top heavy, so toddlers handling them can become quite frustrating to the toddler and the adult. The changes made to this game has taken the fun out of it.
My kids were very excited to play Lucky Ducks. They played for about ten minutes and then game stopped working completely. The button never turned it on again. Unfortunately we had to return it.
Purchased for Christmas. When we opened it and set it up the game didn't work, went to try different batteries (even though the ones we put in were brand new) and they were extremely hot after only being in for about a minute. Game also feels much cheaper in quality than past versions.
When it comes to toys, I know my stuff. Before retiring I was a preschool teacher for 28 years. During that time, I purchased several Lucky Duck games. The pond was sturdy and rotated smoothly making an audible noise, Now the pond is flimsy and rotates with a bumpy slow motion making a low quack as if it were worn out. The game contained four brightly colored ponds where the player placed his duck if he chose the right color. Now it has a small shape that is placed on the pond. The symbol is small and not colorful. The ducks were like the ones pictured on the box made of strong plastic very colorful and cute. The ducks are now made of a cheap plastic and not detailed at all, I would have given the original game four stars and an excellent review. Why did the company change this game? I purchased the game as a gift and was embarrassed when the child set the game up to play.
