Pressman Toys - Checkers/Chess/Backgammon (Folding Board)

Bought this for my husband and I and it's been a lot of fun having some board games in the house again. Learning Backgammon has been a bit harder for me than my husband, but I think we've got it. The game is holding up well months later, the box is not. The box for the game was damaged when it arrived- it's really low quality cardboard, do not get it wet. Same with th game board, I wouldn't want to get it wet or fear of it ruining the board. But, since I figured this would be the case due to the very low price, I only knocked 1 star for it.

good quality .just as I expected. only problem box was crushed on one end.nothing inside was damaged. .

I like all of the items in this package!

Product arrived on time and perfect for our need!

Purchasing this game we thought it would be flimsy and cheap but it was actually a great buy. Pulling this game out took us back to our childhoods. The nostalgia of this old-school gameboard and pieces took over and we had a ball playing and talking about old times.

For the price, this set was a great value. You'll notice immediately that the box and the board are a bit thin, especially compared to traditional board game boxes and boards, but the game pieces, especially the checkers, are actually good durability and look good. It's great to have multiple games the kids can play, at a price that's cheaper than most single games. I included some photos to show the box and board thickness. Hope it's helpful!

Purchased this to teach my 6 yr old grandkids to play. Needed the product to be inexpensive but durable. This was exactly what i was looking for. They love it

Can't beat what you get for the price Nothing fancy, but functional. After all, If you just want to play the games, it's great! If you want a gaudy showpiece, this ain't for you!

Sixty-seven and still love using this brand after all the years I've used board games. Good value for my money, sturdy pieces, nice size. Good fun for all ages.

He loves the game And hopes to learn to play chess in the future. I love the fact that there were extra checker pieces in the game as well. He just turned seven, and this was that A nice game for him.
