Presto 23 Quart Aluminum Pressure Canner and Cooker

I've been using the Presto 23-Quart Aluminum Pressure Canner and Cooker for a while now, and it's hands down one of the best investments I've made for my kitchen. First off, the size is perfect—big enough to can multiple jars at once (up to 7 quarts or 20 pints), which makes batch processing way more efficient. The aluminum body is lightweight compared to other models, but still sturdy and heats up evenly. I also appreciate how it works well on both gas and electric stoves. The pressure gauge is accurate, and the lid locks securely for a tight seal every time. i have the 16qt as well and I lived it until I bought this one. i use both cancers and will keep both cancers, but if it wasn't so Estelle, I would replace the 16qt with this one.

I had owed this product before, it was not easy to find. when I saw wal-mart carried it your price was better then amazon, and I needed it for canning it was a no brainer. Like I said I needed the product, I am going to use it, and the price was good. Thank You!

I WAS SCEPTICAL ABOUT THIS PRESTO PRESSURE COOKER (BEING MY 3RD ONE). IT SEEMED LIGHTER IN WEIGHT COMPARED TO THE OTHER EXACT MODEL I OWN. BUT, I HAVE USED BOTH A FEW DAYS AGO AND IT DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I PRESSURE CAN AT 1000 FT/10 IBS. I REMOVED A STAR FOR THE HORRID PACKAGING FROM WALMART. THE ACTUAL PRODUCT WAS IN A GOOD BOX WITH STYROFOAM, BUT WALMART CHOSE TO WRAP IT (NOT COMPLETELY EVEN) IN A PIECE OF TERRIBLE PLASTIC. MY PRODUCT WAS SHOWING. I KNOW NOW THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT HOW YOU RECEIVE IT, JUST AS LONG AS YOU BUY IT! I DO RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT, BUT THEY NEED TO MAKE A JIGGLER WEIGHT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY A SEPARATE ONE. ALSO SELL TWO RACKS PER POT FOR STAKING. HOPE THIS HELPS! ENJOY CANNING SAFELY!

I have pressure canned green beans, purple hull peas, pickles, tomato sauce and salsa. It is easy to use. I wish I had ordered sooner. i have also used it to water bath jelly and preserves. I am enjoying learning more.

I purchased this item so that I could can meats. I have canned beef, pork, and chicken. This pressure cooker/canned comes with many safety features is it certainly isn't your grandmothers pressure cooker! I found it to be extremely safe & easy to use. Can't wait to can more meats and then venture into canning chili, soups & veggies!!

I was looking for an item that would help me cut back on time canning, and I found it in the Presto 23-Quart Aluminum Pressure Canner. I now will be able to do 20 pints at a time, Great. It's large capacity is light to move around, eazy handeling. I can also use it for more than just canning. Great Addition to my kitchen.

Have been using for the last 4 months for canning with no issues. Double check measurements and weight capacity of your stove. Others have complained it was too tall to fit under stove hood or their flat top wasn't rated for a full canner weight. Works fine on my gas stove and have had no issues.

I love the size! At first I was worry that it might be too big, but I’m glad that I got 23qt instead of 16qt because it doesn’t pay to can small amount of food. I’m also glad that I went with Presto as a beginner, it’s light weight enough so I don’t need to call for help when i need to dump the water. I love the manual, it’s very informative and easy to follow.

I had to order on line because the stores did not carry this product. I shopped around and many of other stores carried this product. Target, Fred Meyers, kmart and shopko all had the same exact size and product but Wal- mart had them all beat with their pricing. Not only that but none of them carried the product in store so I would have to order it on line. I was concerned that the purchase would have been noticed in my account because it was a present and I found out Wal mart has an order on line and pay cash in store option. That help sell it to me as well. Not only that but I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was in store by Friday! Loving the price, the ease of getting it, being able to pay cash and the product.
