great product..I use it on my vehicle seat for food delivery, good durable quality for the price.
Well, this is a silver sheet of emergency blanket. Its very thin and super shiny. They work as they should and at a super good price.
Bought for an emergency, haven't used, looks Ok.
Got these for stocking stuffers and hope the family is bright enough to put some in each car, just in case.
These items work great. Mylar is very reflective but once a tear develops impossible to repair. For the price, it is better to discard and get new.
I purchased these to go in a "Worst Case Scenario Emergency Kit" that I made for my adult children and myself. I included items that might be handy during a long-term power outage, including candles, matches, and water purification tablets. Hopefully, they will never have a need for these, but they have them should the need arise.
Cheap emergency hiking equipment
Definitely a good purchase I shared with family since there were 4
Kind of small haven't used them yet probably do what I ordered them for
I hate to give a poor review, but I'm doing so only because these are supposed to be emergency blankets. The ones I received ripped very easily, I wasn't able to even get them unfolded entirely without ripping them quite a bit. They are incredibly fragile. I had some mylar blankets before and they were very durable. But these ripped on me from barely handling them. I would not recommend these in an emergency and will seek Walmart for a refund :( Maybe search for 'thick' mylar or space blankets - maybe there are different thicknesses? I'm unsure as I don't know much about mylar blankets. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they do seem to be insulating my windows a little, and my room feels a little warmer, which is the main purpose I bought them for. Their fragility though means they are pretty ripped and had to tape them down. I think it would be really difficult to avoid ripping these because of how small they are folded down to initially. Maybe if you managed to get it unfolded all the way it would still serve its purpose as a blanket, but mine ripped in some big chunks so i think you'd lose quite a bit of insulation. I've doubled them over in my window but some holes are quite big. Sorry...
