Set it up and inspected it completely before taking it to the woods. Everything was good, no defects detected.
I bought 2 of these blinds. I got them fast as usual from Rodgers. These are my first primal blinds. I set them up in the yard to air them out . The first one went fine. The second one snapped a support stick in one of the walls. I contacted primal and I told them what happened, they told me to send pictures of the damage and the pictures of the receipt and they would send me a new blind. I contacted Rodgers for a copy of my receipt , which was promptly emailed, and problem solved. Sent everything to primal and I got a email saying they were sending a new blind. As far as the quality of the blind. The material is a little heavier than ameristep and rhino. No as heavy as double bull. The window material will take some getting used to. I'm not at all disappointed with the blind or the customer service of Rodgers or primal.
Used it 2 full days so far deer hunting. Had a small doe come within 20 feet checking it out oblivious to me being there. Spent second day in thunderstorms and showers on and off all day. Kept me dry. Easy to put up and take down. Great value at $99. I almost want another at this price because it is a great value. If you want a blind then get this. Expect it to last a while.
well built. Hope its fade resistant. Tight surface when expanded.
Great coverage
The see-through "windows" are pretty cool. You can't see from the outside in, but can vice-versa. Two people can fit semi-comfortably, depending on the size of the people. :) It blends well in the woods, and the zippers are nice and sturdy. Only gave it four stars because they don't last more than one-two hunting seasons, especially if a big wind blows through unexpectedly. My husband takes it down during off season for storage, but they still don't last long enough.
There are a lot of comparisons between this and the Double Bull line because the pop-up hub construction looks similar. I own both, and no, this is no Double Bull. However, I think it's a good value for the money. The price and durability difference is in the materials. The Wraith feels like a heavy tent material, and care will be needed when brushing it in. This will stay outside for deer season, to save the Double Bull for turkey season. I'm not expecting it to last multiple seasons, but maybe I'll be surprised. The camo pattern is pretty effective as well, as are the sliding windows. Once again a great purchase from Rogers, excellent price and shipped very quickly, I can't recommend them enough!
What I wanted at the right price
Good blind for the value. I bought it for the price and was in a time pinch. It shipped quickly. A few things, the zippper is VERY loud. On a still morning, you'd need 15 minutes to open the zipper quietly. The see thru fabric on the windows is shiny! Issue for the deer? We'll see! The good, great price, sets up easy and quickly and is roomy inside. Its definitely not a Double Bull or other great Primos blind, but I knew it going in. Fix the zipper issue, and I'd probably rate it at 4 or maybe a low 5 stars.
Good thing I got this blind on sale. Was a disappointment when I set this blind up for the first time. Windows poorly designed and material of blind is thin. For a blind that is usually priced close to 200. 00 I would expect a little better overall quality. This is a one year disposable blind at best.
