Awesome Layered Dip Potato Crisps~~~~~~~~~~ This 5.5 oz canister of layered dip flavored potato crisps offers an exceptionally savory, crisp snack experience right at home. The classic crunch and dynamic, seasoned profile create a highly satisfying taste, making it a perfect, budget-friendly choice to pack along for an easy midday lunch treat. These potato crisps are an absolute home run for my snack pantry. The distinct crunch is completely spot-on, holding up perfectly without getting crushed or broken easily in the container. It delivers a genuinely delicious blend of complex, savory dip flavors that hits the spot perfectly when you are craving a salty treat to break up the day. They provide a simple, hassle-free option that packs plenty of fun flavor into your routine, making them an excellent side choice to toss into a lunchbox or share during a movie. I highly recommend keeping a canister on hand!
I'm not one to write reviews on Walmart, but 7-Layer Dip Pringles are so fantastic that I'm doing everything I can to get the word out. If you're unfamiliar with seven-layer dip, it's a highly-addictive party dip containing: sour cream (mixed with taco seasoning), beans, guacamole, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes (and/or black olives). Not to get too metaphysical on you, but it's synergistic—the total effect of these ingredients together is greater than the sum of their individual parts. Somehow, the folks at Pringles have managed to capture the essence of this magical dip 👏🏻 in 👏🏻 chip 👏🏻 form. I have not seen such a spot-on "dupe" since Snickers turned their candy bar into an ice cream bar. This chip has it allllll: the flavors of the dip are perfectly balanced, and as when you're eating the actual dip, sometimes the flavor of one component sings out slightly more than another. It's like seeing your favorite band live in concert vs streaming them on Spotify. Most remarkably, they managed to give the chip a strong note of fresh cilantro. This is the only commercially-prepared snack I've ever found that pulls it off. (And because of this, self-identifying cilantro-haters will want to steer clear.) One question you might have is whether or not it's spicy. In my opinion, this chip is SPICED, not SPICY. Its spice comes primarily from taco seasoning, which is a blend of mild chili powder, cumin, and garlic (among other things). If you can handle tacos or mild chili, you'll be just fine. When I first saw these online, I ordered them based off of the sheer number of 5-star reviews and reviewers saying that these are, hands down, the BEST flavor of Pringles they've ever tried. I'm throwing my hat in with them. These ARE the best flavor of Pringles. And, controversial opinion: I believe this flavor is better than that of Doritos. (Yes, even Cool Ranch, my soul's Dorito. Note: I'm just talking about flavor here, not texture or the chip-eating experience as a whole.) I fed these to my family without hyping them up, and within five minutes, my husband says, "these are the best Pringles I've ever eaten." You owe it to yourself to try these before they get taken away from us, like Rice Krispies Cereal, Pudding Pops, and the original recipe Butterfinger's. Pro Tip for Americans: Pringles can help you understand the metric system! One pringle is about two grams. Think about that the next time a cop show mentions how many grams a "perp" got caught with.
This was presented as a new product on the WALMART app for a special price ($1.00 for a smaller number of "chips"). I did open it immediately and I liked the flavor very much. It has been decades since I purchased a Pringles product. I used to put them into a "long porcelain presentation bowl" for party guests to use to scoop up dips. I would purchase them again just for me or, to take to a party.
A few people have tried them and they love them. To me they were spicy but that is because my mouth and throat are raw right now.
These arrived very broken up…. That being said, if my memory serves, they had the flavor of guacamole. Not bad at all. Pringles usually taste very greasy to me if I eat too many but eaten in moderation, these were tasty. Too bad they arrived all broken up.
this is one of the few flavors of pringles that is not at all like what the taste is supposed to be....its just too mild and just a hint of 7 layer dip....will not buy again
It doesn't have a super strong taste. The main flavor is the chip itself. The seasoning is lightly spicy, with small notes of salsa and guac, but not much else. I haven't had Pringles in awhile, and I was a bit disappointed by the lack of crunch and texture of the chips. If you really like Pringles, then this is worth a try, but there are many other snacks out there that are better than this. It just tastes unhealthy really.
Do not like the flavor, had high hopes because I do like seven-layer dip but to me, this just kind of tasted like nothing much... if I had a blindfold on and had never had this particular flavor of Pringles before, I would not be able to tell you what was in it or the name of it according to taste. Will not buy again.
ok so like here's the thing, i'm sitting in bed scrolling snacks on walmart (big back) and i see these and i think. "i love seven layer dip dude that sounds awesome." and so i buy it and it's great for like the first 10 ish. And then it's just not it anymore which is basically what 7 layer dip is like tbh. Anyway, the point is it tastes identical to 7 layer dip
The taste was excellent, all three of the packaged chips were broken in little tiny pieces - I assume during delivery. If you want these, buy them at the grocery store and don't have them delivered. Packaging does not keep them from breaking into a million pieces.
