Proscan Elite 10.1" Tablet with Portable DVD Combo, Android 11, 32GB Storage - Black

I absolutely LOVE this handy tablet. It's like a large smartphone or small laptop. Setting it up was a breeze. It actually copied all of my accounts from my cellphone. Love the dvd player. We recently lost power for two days. Luckily my tablet was charged and I was able to watch DVDs. The screen quality is excellent...actually better than my laptop. It's quick running when you're on the internet.

I have never seen a combo tablet and DVD player before. I love the stand. It is ideal to watch a movie. I plan on giving this to my incoming freshmen for his dorm. You can also do gaming on this through the Google play store. I don’t know about finding a protective case that would fit this because it is a bit thicker than regular tablets. It was very easy and intuitive to set up all I had to do was turn on the power button and it walked me through everything. It also has an earphone jack and camera along with built-in Bluetooth.

Wow, this is such a cool gadget. First of all, it is very sturdy and easy to hold. I like the thickness of it. It was very easy to set up the system. There were prompts all along the way to help you through it. Navigating from website to website or between apps is a breeze. I tried the DVD player and it operated perfectly. There were no glitches or issues. The picture was crisp and clear. I will love bringing this along on all of our road trips to help pass the time! What’s amazing is that a car charger is included! This would make a very nice gift for anyone! Very happy!

This tablet is very nice. It is an android so it has a comfortable interface that is easy to interact with. The physical tablet is quite sturdy and a bit thicker than usual tablets. It has 32 GB of onboard storage and 2 GB of RAM which is plenty for most people. You lift up the front screen to access the DVD player. The DVD player plays smoothly and has a great picture. It comes with the regular charging cord as well as a car adapter. I feel like this would be fantastic for taking on trips.

Power and volume buttons are on the side, very hard to see and easy to hit the wrong button and accidentally turn power off when trying to adjust volume. The short power cord has USB and wall plug. There is a cigarette lighter adapter included. The "overview" in the instruction booklet, showing where the features are located, is printed very small and difficult to read. There is a pull-out stand for use on a table. DVD function: The menu comes up by touching the bottom of the screen. Using the “OK” button in that menu lets you navigate the DVD menu. The buttons seem to require at least two presses. Picture is crisp and clear. Sound is good. Tablet functions: Camera is a selfie camera only. Since the DVD player takes up the back part of the unit, you cannot take a picture of anything else. Connected to wifi easily. Only includes G-mail but I was able to download Outlook. Performance is fast. Tablet touch screen is very responsive, unlike the DVD screen. Overall this is a very nice unit and performs very well.

Got this so we had a tablet and dvd player for trips and it works perfectly. Super easy to use that my kids can figure it out easily like a smaller tablet. Movies play and its clear and sits perfectly for watching. I would say the only thing is that its bulky and most likely for kids over the age of 8 and or adults but this would be a great gift for travelers or overnight stays because you can bring dvds although most things are streamed and it does that too. Did one less star because it doesnt sit up well and has a chance to fall over and break.

Using this tablet as my "kitchen device" to watch shows while I'm cooking and washing dishes. It's come in handy to watch cooking videos and pull up Pinterest recipes. It's thick due to the DVD capability but surprisingly lightweight. I like that it has a stand so I didn't have to buy anything extra. Was also really easy to set up Using my existing Google account, I was able to pick and choose which apps and info I wanted to copy from my phone.

The Proscan Elite 10" tablet is a pretty good dvd player. When I first went to charge it, there was already 86% . The picture is clear and the sound is about average . It looks kind of like a toy because the tablet is kind of bulky so don't expect a top of the line product. It measures 10"x7"x1" and weighs 1.13oz. It has a built-in stand in the back. It comes with a USB cord and also a car cord. As far as the tablet, it has Android 11, Bluetooth, 2mp front camera. It has 2gb ram/ 32 gb storage. There a slot for a micro SD card for additional memory. There is headphone jack. It charges with usb-c. There are a few apps built in including Google, Google go, Chrome, and You Tube. So far, I have only been using the DVD player and watched You Tube videos. I don't plan to use this as my main tablet. I got this mainly to use for back-up when the power goes out and road trips. This will also be perfect for my grandson to use when he comes over. I have only charged it once since I got and it seems to be holding well. For a low priced tablet/DVD player, so far I am happy with it.

It’s a nice idea in theory, but not a good quality unit. We purchased this with a long trip in mind for our daughter and it worked as advertised for the first day or two, but then would start saying that the DVD tray is open in the middle of watching movies. I verified this was happening without any external inputs to the unit while it was strapped to a head rest. Trying to get warranty consideration from Proscan (owned by Curtis International) is a ridiculous process with lots of roadblocks.

I totally disliked it. I gave it to my daughter as a birthday present on November 11th (her birthday was on the 12th). On the 12th it stopped taking a charge. I made several attempts to return it within the first 30 days and I was told that Walmart couldn’t take it back because my daughter threw the box away that it came in. Now she has a tablet/dvd player that no longer operates. It’s totally unfair because I obviously bought it from Walmart and have proof of purchase as I got it online. My daughter keeps asking me if she will get another one and I just don’t have the money to pay for another one. A kind lady sent me a $100 Walmart gift card for her so that she could get the tablet that she had talked about ALL YEAR , just for it to stop working within 24 hours. I’m so disappointed with Walmart and the way they have handled this situation…I’m frustrated beyond belief, but what can I do? Please fix this for me. I know someone, somewhere has the power to do so. This review is literally the last chance that I have at getting this fixed. I can’t believe that the local managers have been so nonchalant about it. It really sucks, and it makes me want to stop spending money with Walmart.
