This headset is amazing. i haven't bought one in several years so i was sketchy. This headsets 3D audio and easy to use mapping of the buttons makes this my favorite headset ive owned. The only thing i don't like is that after a while it starts to hurt the top of your head.

I can hear the footsteps I need to know where to look to shoot. The volume for game or chat I think should be separate as if you have in middle you can't hear chat as well. It's nice not having a mic that gets recked that you have to attach or fold up and wires get damaged like the turtle beach ones. I would buy another one of these before a turtle beach one.

I got these because I love the Microsoft ones that go with the Xbox so thought might as well get Sony for Sony too. These feel very cheap. I haven't had problems with the sound or mic, but they're not so comfortable. The slide down and feel cheaply made. For $100 I suppose they're not too bad, but I definitely wouldn't pay more than that and would actually probably pay $50 more to get some that feel better. Good thing about these is the build in mic so you don't hit it or anything, also all of the controls on the ear pieces are nice.

I've had the same turtle beaches headset for the last 5 years, all taped up and everything. I decided to give this one a try, I ended up returning the order and using my old ones because they're better. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who is looking for gaming audio so good that you could hear enemy footsteps.

I feel after owning turtle beaches they should add the decision to hear outside background noise also and could be a little more sound deadening or louder. Quality of sound was nice tho just wish it could be louder or again more deadening with the option to turn on or off background noise to hear kids, animals, phones, etc if needed

I bought this headset thinking I could pair it with either my PS5 or my PS5 Portal Remote but it only connects to the PS5 via a USB dongle. Sound quality is decent but unless you're near the PS5 it really doesn't work for the Portal Remote. I sent it back for the earbuds.

Sony does not adhere to any ADA Standards regarding the hard of hearing. We hard of hearing require the use of Dolby and DTS amplifiers for headsets, which Sony says they don't do, except for external speakers. I won't be happy with these until Sony fixes this issue. The sound is wicked low and I can't hear any of my games.
