I was concerned when I saw it was nearly all plastic but it actually worked very well as far as slicing or chopping. Blades easy to change. However, as I was moving it to my cabinet, the bottom fell off and the lever to secure it to the counter fell out. I can't get the rubber base to stay of the bottom of the grater, therefore the item is useless.

it's terrible. cheaply made and pieces do not fit well which ultimately caused the grater blades to grate the plastic and my cheese. so we all ended up pulling tiny bits of plastic out of mouths when we tried to eat lunch.
