I bought this because the water where I live has a strong bleach and chlorine smell to it and a very nasty minerally/metallic taste to it straight from the tap. This pitcher has me drinking water once again. I can't seem to get enough LoL I not only use it for my drinking water but I am also using it for cooking any food that requires water, my home brewed Ice Tea and in my Keurig coffeemaker. In my Keurig, I have noticed that I am no longer seeing the Descale light come on as often as it was when I was using straight tap water in it. And my coffee actually has a much better taste to it now too. I can only imagine what this has done for my health too. And the price was right on at $19.99. I also purchased a spare filter (which I have not had to use yet) for $7.99.

So far it's a wonderful item thats proving to work as stated! Im in awe as to how much better the Pur water taste and smells! Wow! The reason I chose the Pur system was simply because I was getting a counter top ice maker which recommended using filtered water, the Pur 11 cup pitcher happened to be on sale. Well, now Im a forever fan and life long customer! I truly wish I had understood sooner the immense difference your product makes. The entire household is drinking more WATER!!! Thank you for this! Between filling the ice machine n meeting their demands I'm falling behind..sooo, I'm getting the counter top one next and filters on auto delivery! If anyone out there is considering Pur? Go for it!

I bought this because I'm taking chemo and I have well water. It really amazed me that my water tastes so much better, I really wasn't expecting a change to be honest. With my immunity so low from treatment I just wanted to take additional precautions. I'll never stop using this.

Does a wonderful job at filtering the unwanted tastes from tap water. Our city water is questionable and has been known to fail the required cleanliness levels- so this filter pitcher gives us peace of mind that it's getting rid of the pollutants that our city might not be doing. The filters do last as long as they claim to- although as it's getting to the end of its time the water does filter slower- but it still filters.

My family loves the pur plus 11 cup water pitcher. It's easy to set up and use. My 8 year old can easily refill and put back into the refrigerator without spilling all over it it's not heavy like some other water purifiers that I've tried in the past. Also water taste good.

bought this pitcher to avoid plastic bottles in landfill. i find the position of the filling door inconvenient. usually i fillit..let it filter thru, and add water right away so I have water ready. i have a keurig and nespresso and choose to only use filtered water. i would buy again

The water quality is great, but the pitcher plastic is very flimsy. The first unit broke before I could use it. While washing it before my first fill, I placed the lid and shook the pitcher to rinse out the soap. The pitcher hit the side of the sink and cracked. I think the materials could be a lot more durable. I did purchase a second one, but would definitely have chosen something more durable if given the chance. I feel like this thing would shatter like glass if it were dropped on the floor.

PUR Water pitcher- I tried the 6 cup pitcher and I love the taste of the water.So now I'm trying the 11 cup PUR water pitcher with the PUR plus filter.Nice design! I just filled the reservoir and the gravity fed filtration is a lot slower, but I think that's good because it tells me that it is filtering better (more stages, more time). The filtration will probably speed up a bit once the filter is broke in some.To sum up,not bad for the price.

I purchased this Pur Water Pitcher on 1/28/26. I have had it a month tomorrow. At 1st it filtered fine and the water taste great. However in the past week and half it's taking the water 4 or 5 hrs and longer to filter and it's not time to change the filter. I went to the Pur website for help and read the questions and answers. Said to take the filter out and shake it to make sure the granules were well distributed and make sure it was in place and sealed correctly. Did that and still took 4 or 5 or longer hrs to filter. Tried to contact Pur customer service on the website and it's required to provide name, email, and address. I can understand requiring name and email in order to respond but requiring a persons address for support is ridiculous in my opinion. Evidently Pur does not want to support their customers or stand behind their products. I also have the filter for my kitchen sink. I don't have the box to return it because it worked fine for couple of weeks. I am not happy with the purchase because in less than a month it is not working and Pur support is terrible. I would not buy again and definitely do not recommend.

this pitcher and filter do not work. my water tastes just like out of the tap. my regular pur filter seems to work better. i can't drink the water using this filter and pitcher. i suspect that the fill tank where the filter is leaks so the water isn't all filtered. my other pitcher, the filter locks in better and is more enclosed. this is not designed well and i wish i didnt buy it.
