Pure Balance Pro+ Senior Salmon and Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food, 8 lb

I have a very sensitive dog that throws up when she eats anything that doesn't agree with her stomach. She has never done that since eating this food. She is a Bishon/Shitzu mix. This food agrees with her in every way. The only thing I don't like is I had to buy a container to keep this food in because my cat wants to tear the bag open to eat it!

We started our senior dog who has severe arthritis in his back and hind legs, allergies, and has no spleen because it almost burst. Thank God we noticed. After trying to find a good food that wasn't so expensive we came upon Pure Balance Pro Senior. He eats it willinglyand after less than a month started getting more energy. He even hops in the car on his own 4 out of 5 times! It's just amazing! Vet said he had the "worst case of arthritis he'd ever seen, said he's doing great. We've been using for about 9 months now, his bloodwork just came back and everything is in range! No extra supplements. Besides allergy injections and edible flea/tick prevention, he gets 95% of his nutrition from Pure Balance Pro Senior 7 years. That's just my experience. Good luck!

My senior Belgian Shepherd loves this food and always eats every bit that's in her bowl right away. And I love that, as well as the wholesome ingredients, and the price itself is about half of what I was paying for another brand with salmon and rice, which by the way didn't have such wholesome ingredients and my dog always left some of that in her bowl. Thanks Walmart for this great and affordable dog food. I also get the pure balance puppy food for my chiweenie puppy and she loves it too!

Probably the best choice for senior dogs if you're on a budget. Cost wise, this one is well below it's competition yet delivers the needed benefits to the older dogs. Two of our four mutts love it and the other two do as well, but are on special diets. We actually add just a touch of bone broth to their meal and they lap it up. They also have no issue with it dry, but we like to spoil them anyway. In conclusion, if you have that 7 year or older furry family member, this is an excellent choice for you.

There are no artificial colors or preservatives in this. It has joint supplements, must taste pretty good and is a good size kibble for large. to medium-small dogs. i put a little warm water, broth or canned food on it to help my 15 year old large dog chew it, and gʻet my little picky one to eat it easily. They both liked it and their coats stayedshiny.

i'm not so sure, while i think my dog likes the taste of the food, i do notice mushier booboos which i think is strange. will definitely finish the bag but unsure if will purchase again, doesnt make him sick at all but the mushy booboos are of concern

the senior dog food formula has made my Lucy girl sick. As precursor i did the trial run by slowly switching foods as instructed. The senior blend made my food driven pup to a "i dont want to eat and i cant control my bladder. " This dog has not had an accident in years. Since we switched full time to this food, in the matter of 2 weeks she had 2 accidents and was barely eating. She liked the food at first but must be doing something to her. In the trash it goes. Lucy is 10 years old 35lb corgi mix. i had high hopes but i did not work for us.

after WalMart stopped carring the same but in wet. pure pro plan for seniors, mine 17 years old, i decoded to try this dry stuff, same stuff, but dry instead of wet and fish flavor instead of beef. My dog will not touch it. tried to put one piece at a time in her mouth, for day's but all she does is use that tongue of hers and spit it out, every time. so tried puruna moist %26 meaty, but when delivered it was expired. I just want to feedy 17 year old something healthy amd not spend a arm and leg, when store drops something a customer buys weekly with no notice

I ordered Pure Balance Senior Salmon %26 Brown Rice 30 lb dog food, but I received a different brand (Jinx) instead. The item did not match what I purchased. I hope this helps other customers double-check their orders before buying so they don't experience the same issue.
