my dog was looking a little heavy so I put him on this. not only does he like it as much as any other food he's had, he looks way better now. the price is great for what you get and the fact you can pick it up at any Walmart is great
my dog has Pancreatitis and this food has helped him so much. its helped him loose weight and the fat content is helping keep his flare ups woth his stomach down.
I research ingredients before buying food for my pets - Pure Balance Pro Weight Management Chicken %26 Oatmeal Recipe has the best ingredients of ANY dry dog food I have found!! THE BEST %26 HEALTHIEST!!!! My Corgis love it - even my cat loves it!! LOL
This is the only dog food I buy for my miniature Schnauzer. He has to eat a strict low-fat diet, due to prior pancreatitis. After searching high %26 low this is the most affordable low-fat dry dog food I have found %26 has not caused any issues for him.
Both my dogs have stomach issues when eating foods with too much fat, I guess that's a Pancreas issue. But anyway, Vets ALWAYS try to get you to pay a fortune in subscription low fat dog foods. Which I did at first. Then I started making my own dog food and buying a lower fat kibble to mix it with. But as we ALL know, grocery prices have skyrocketed this year, and meat is ridiculously overpriced. So, I recently switched to this weight management dog food from Wal-mart. It has a minimum of 7% crude fat and the ingredient's I wouldn't say are the best, but if you have a dog that needs low fat dog food and don't want to pay a small fortune on prescription low fat dog food, then give this a try. My dogs have been doing well on it and not getting sick and lethargic from too much fat. I also use a small bit of Fresh Pet Tender Chicken in the yellow roll, which is also only has a minimum 7% crude fat as a topper and my dogs love it!
LONG ago, WalMart responded decisively to criticism of the quality of it's Ol' Roy dogfood by issuing a whole new family of highest quality dogfood, Pure Balance Pro ! We have used it ever since it came out, and it is the best dogfood for the money on the market today!
We have a miniature Schnauzer and they have problems with fatty foods. We have figured out this is perfect for her diet to keep pancreatic problems away. It has been a great healthy food for our dog♥️
I guess it's good !! My over weight dog has lost 4 lbs. which is great and the reason I purchased! But she's over weight because she eats everything that's put in front of her, so I don't know how good it is really!!
Our Toby is 12 years old and was gaining weight also needed less protein. Every 3rd bag of Pro Balance is a bag of senior and then back to weight management. This works best for our Toby keeping his weight in check .
Been trying to find food my dog was not going to have a reaction to. Started my Chihuahua on this food a few months ago. No more sneezing. No more itching. No more dry flaky skin. First time I have seen her relax and nap. She has started playing again and losing weight. Thank You Walmart!! Love this dog food!!
