Gently with your stomach

Emvc November 19, 2023

When is the cold season you take more vitamin C than usual , but here comes the problem: your stomach tend to get upset with the ascorbic acid. I tried this brand and its really what it says. The acid is encapsulated some how that dont make you have secondary effects.. The pills are not that small. I would say they ar ein the medium size. [ see the picture]. I havent had any odor in my urine so I am ahappy qirh that. This brand has a lot of item you cant ever imagine. I discovered and see all the products for different needs.

Didn't bother my Husband's sensitive stomach!

ADKErin November 9, 2023

My husband has Crohn's disease, so he has a lot of stomach sensitivities. With cold and flu season starting I wanted to get him some vitamin C to help boost his immune system. Normally, vitamin C can irritate his stomach but not this! This was just as advertised and didn't bother him at all. He's been taking one a day for about 2 weeks now. The pills are on the larger size, but they are easy to swallow. They are Gluten free, Non-GMO and Hypoallergenic. 90 capsules in a bottle. Can take 1-4 daily. One capsule gives you 744% of your daily value of vitamin C, also 9% of your daily value of Magnesium, and 1% calcium. I am happy to have found vitamin C that doesn't bother my husband's stomach. If you have stomach issues, please give this a try! I highly recommend!

Best Vitamin C supplement I have used.

QueenOfInterneShopping November 18, 2023

The Pure brand Buffered Ascorbic Acid (vit C) is a great product. If you ever had a stomach ache after taking vitamins on an empty stomach, you should try these. They are buffered which makes them lighter on your digestive system. Unless you eat a lot of fresh fruit, you probably could use a Vitamin C supplement. I have noted as I age, my skin feels as it is not as glowing or flexible. I understand, that Ascorbic Acid is essential in Collagen production. I was very happy to see that this is over 700% of the vitamin C needed daily. It also adds smaller amounts of calcium, magnesium and potassium. All of these are needed to keep us healthy and help our bodies stay young. II have seen a definite change in my facial skin glow since taking these for over a week. Highly recommend.

Seems like a good quality Buffered Ascorbic Acid

Bill November 9, 2023

So far so good with this Buffered Ascorbic Acid Capsule by Pure. I have not had any upset stomach symptoms since taking it and I always take a daily Vitamin C to boost my immune system. I also have acid reflux regularly and since I have started taking this over regular chewable vitamin C my reflux hasn't been as regular which is nice.

NO HEARTBURN :)

ANNIE November 10, 2023

I already use buffered aspirin, so I was happy to see buffered Vitamin C! I really like it! I normally get heartburn when I take Vitamin C supplements, but I've been taking 1 capsule everday for almost 2 weeks now and no heartburn! Nice to finally have a product I can take. Also nice that it's not oversized, so easily swallowed. See dime in my photo for comparative sizing :) Can happily recommend this product :)

Great for sensitive stomachs.

FrankieCat November 14, 2023

I swear by Vitamin C and I'm not talking about the piddly amount they put in a multi vitamin. Your body does not produce Vitamin C on its own and it also doesn't store it. With the sicknesses going around, getting plenty of Vitamin C is hugely important, especially if you don't get enough from the foods you eat. Some folks may have issues with sensitivity to Vitamin C upsetting their stomachs. These Pure Encapsulations capsules are buffered ascorbic acid. They combine calcium ascorbate, magnesium ascorbate, and potassium ascorbate to create a neutral pH vitamin C. This special form of ascorbic acid lessens possible gastric irritation in sensitive individuals. And this brand does not contain any wheat, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, artificial colors, flavors , sweeteners, coatings and shellacs, GMOs, and unnecessary binders, fillers, and preservatives.
