Purex Crystals Scent Booster, Fresh Lavender Fields, 39oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using these Pyrex Crystals scent boosters. The texture of the crystals is nice and they dissolve well during the wash. I added a small amount to my laundry and my towels came out smelling very fresh and clean. The fragrance is noticeable but not overwhelming, which I like. It makes clothes, bedding and towels feel extra fresh after washing. A simple way to boost the scent of your laundry.

Just add as little or as much as you want at the beginning of the cycle and the crystals dissolve leaving your clothes smelling amazing. The odor eliminating formula works great on clothes, towels and blankets. It doesn't leave any residue on your clothes. I love to use the crystals on my towels to keep them smelling fresh since I don't use fabric softener on them.

You can self determine the amount of scent with the poured crystals in the cap, takes a few loads of laundry to determine your personal scent level. I thought the fragrance was generally fresh and uplifting. So far no skin irritation from booster crystals as they are part of the wash cycle with detergent. Laundry load smelled fresh & even after some were lined dried while others were placed in dryer. Received for free for my personal use & honest reviews.

The scent lasts for a long time even when clothes are stored in the closet for a while. The crystals dissolve in a wash cycle without any issues. The packaging is convenient and easy to pour into the lid which makes it simple to measure out the right amount. The only reason that I’m not giving this a full 5 starts is because the scent is a little overwhelming.

I only needed to put a small amount and that did work for a medium load. I was worried when I smelled the scent of the boosters that it would be overpowering but once the laundry is washed it wasn’t too bad. Definitely will be using this in bits for all my washes!

I really wanted to love these Purex Crystals, but I was very disappointed with the lack of fragrance. Even after using quite a bit in a single load, there was no scent at all on my clothes once they came out of the wash. My positives: Fabric Safe: They did not ruin or stain any of my fabrics. Fully Dissolved: They melted perfectly in the washer, even in large loads, leaving no gritty residue behind. My Negatives: Zero Scent Throw: Despite the "booster" promise, the smell simply wasn't there. It’s possible I received a bad batch or just an exceptionally weak scent profile, but the performance was underwhelming. Final Verdict: I’ll be moving on to a more popular, high-performance brand like Downy Unstopables or Gain Fireworks next time to ensure I actually get the long-lasting freshness I’m paying for. If you are looking for a noticeable fragrance, you might want to skip this one.
