Quality food my puppies love it. It is crunchy but not hard and easy on their new growing teeth. I don't have to break it down in a coffee grinder anymore. Delivery was fast.
My Lab loves the food however how it was delivered is another story. It is usually wrapped when it delivered but today it was left unwrapped on the ground on a rainy day!
I like this food for my dogs. Cause it gove them good nutrients .
Just what the veterinarian recommended
Bringing up my 2 Siberian Huskys on this from Birth. MY oldest is just about to turn 2 so will be weaning him off bur my youngest 11 months will stay till she is 2. Both are healthy dogs , eldest 71lb and the youngst girl now 58lbs. The photo of the pu is the youngest @ 4 months old.
The breeder of our Min. Poodle puppy fed the litter Purina Puppy Chow at weaning and I was more than happy to continue feeding it to little Sadie. I have trusted Purina Feeds for many years as the company does a lot of research on their formulas and it is made in the USA. Our puppy gobbles it up so fast that I have to put it in a puzzle dish.
So I've had my Chorkie puppy for almost 3 weeks. Tried everything, 2 major top brand dry puppy food, I tried mixing it with paté and she was so fussy she would barely touch her food. No joke I was in the store and bought a small box of Purina Puppy Chow Complete mixed it with her other food and she literally picked out every single piece of Puppy Chow Complete and left the high dollar food in the bowl. I highly recommend because I've tried everything.
I started with this food after my new 11 month old mini golden doodle wouldn't eat the food she came home with from prior owner. I didn't realize it was an adult food and were large pieces. When I ran out of food one night I found this. He devoured his meal! I haven't switched since. He loves the wet or dry food.
My 4 month old lab loves it! The breeder used it and my vet highly recommended it I have always used other expensive brands but so far I am please with this food My question is how long do I keep Jagger on it do I need to switch to large breed puppy chow
I have been buying Purina Puppy Chow Complete Dry Food in the small 16oz. box for my dogs for years, with no issues. I purchased a 36 lbs. bag for my 8 week old puppies and it was a good thing that I was checking their bowls, and was also mixing the dry with some puppy can food. I mix everything up by hand (wearing gloves). So, I started noticing clusters of dog food morsels stuck together. The puppies have finished the bag, and within this bag, I throw away approximately 10-12 clusters like this. I am writing because, had I not been thorough preparing their food, they could have possibly choked on these large clusters. Sometimes dogs tend to swallow their food whole without really chewing it, and I have seen that my puppies are starting to do it early on. I believe these clusters can be a hazard to puppies. I hope you can correct this!!
