Purina Fancy Feast Medleys Food, Wet Cat Food, Florentine Collection, 3 oz Cans

My picky 14 year old cat loves the new formula of the Florentine flavors. She sits on her porch by her bowls wanting more after eating the whole can by midmorning. I'll try and feed her regular flavors of fancy feast as these are pricier but at least she devours it all.

This collection is an absolute staple in our household. Finding a wet food that combines high-quality ingredients with a texture that cats actually look forward to can be a challenge, but the Florentine recipes nail it every time. The Sauce: There is just the right amount of savory broth/gravy to keep the meal moist and appetizing without turning it into a soupy mess. Unlike other brands where certain flavors get left behind, every single variety in this variety pack is a hit. The bowls are consistently licked completely clean.

This Recipe has changed!! Speaking for several cats, Fancy Feast Florentine used to be the overwhelming favorite. It used to have a rich creamy white sauce, and I think getting it as a treat has kept some of my sicker cats alive longer. It was different from the other Fancy Feast flavors. Now it looks like the Tuscany style. So be aware--It is not the same recipe. It is now in a 'light broth.'. One of the cats is still okay with it, and the greens, chopped meats and tuna look much the same, so I will still buy it sometimes. But if you relied on the creamy Florentine sauce as a special treat, or to keep sick cats eating, then this may be a big issue and you'll need to shop for suitable substitutes from another brand.

Our cat is a picky eater. She loved this food. Purina changed the recipe on the gravy without any heads up and our picky cat hardly touches this now. It's not like it use to be. I won't buy it again.

my cat so picky .She use to it this.Not sure if she is changing her eating preferences or something changed with this food .I keep trying and wasting so much money .I think soon I take her and get something from the vet on there suggestion.I been looking at ingredients and so many list some gross stuff

I bought this particular style/ flavor, Florentine mixed flavors, that is the only Medley flavor he will eat. There is no creamy sauce anymore. Now my cat will not eat the new gravy flavor and I have 24 packs that now go untouched. The box before this ok NE had a mix of old creamy sauce and new. Looks like the Primavera. It even smells different. What a waste. Please change it back.

The last several times I have bought the Florentine collection ( 12 Pack or individual cans), they have had NO creamy white sauce in them. It's like they're filling the cans with the Primavera or Tuscany flavors instead. If I wanted those flavors, I would buy those flavors. This last time, the tuna flavored Florentine cans in the 12 pack box had the creamy white sauce, but the rest of the cans did not. I know it's "just cat food," but my cats are a bit picky, and one of them really likes this flavor, but only when it's actually what it's supposed to be!

I have always purchased the Fancy Feast Florentine flavors for my cat…..but, these are no longer florentine. Florentine is creamy…..none of these cans are creamy!! These are more like the Primavera flavors! The quality of Fancy Feast has gone downhill rapidly, in my opinion. And beware of all of the Fancy Feast Gravy Grilled flavors also…. some of the chunks of meat are so big, causing cats to choke! After 12 years of buying Fancy Feast Cat Food, I will be now be searching for a different brand.

CREAMY SAUCE ALL GONE My senior cat began loving the Florentine flavor this last year, at the same time totally refusing her old standby medleys Primavera and Tuscany. Just got my first 12 pack Florentine medley and she won’t eat it. Not creamy! It’s not white anymore but brown, looks just like Primavera color. She licked some of the sauce and left all the meat. Pretty much the entire can to be thrown away now. So I checked can ingredients and no creamy ingredients, only FISH BROTH. NOT why she lived the Florentine. I just wasted almost $13 on this and my cat has no food. Nothing in the Walmart description about a new formulation. Nothing on the box label. What am I supposed to do with this?

The box says Florentine; however, it is not. It's not just a one-off issue. I have had multiple boxes like that over several months. My cats will only eat florentine.
