(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have two healthy gorgeous four year old large breed dogs who have been on Purina Pro Plan since they were pups. Currently they enjoy the shredded chicken blend for adults. They also like Purina bacon and cheese Beggin' strips for treats!

Our vet advised to stick to a brand that has been around for awhile and is constantly trialing its food. We settled on Purina Pro-Plan complete essentials. We cycle through the chicken and rice and beef and rice blends. Our dogs love this food and have never been healthier. Their coats are shinny, their eyes are bright and it is obvious how well they feel. We have received many compliments on their appearance and health. If you're looking for a great dog food that will keep your dogs healthy, happy and loving life, I highly recommend this food. You will not be disappointed.

Avro is a 2 year old HUA Dalmatian, because of this I have to be extra cautious of the food he eats to make sure it's low enough in purines for him. To make it all more complicated for myself Avro when I got him refused to eat almost anything. He is very specific about textures and taste and he gets bored very easily. This made it very hard to gain weight and put on muscle. We have been on the Pro Plan Shredded Blend for a year now! A YEAR, with Avro not getting bored and actually sitting and finishing his meals. This is phenomenal for my extra picky boy and the chicken is definitely his favourite. This will forever be our go to food and have even recommended it to other picky pups we know.

My girl has no gut issues and tonnes of energy. He coat is also soft and shiny. She is thriving, thanks to Purina Pro Plan.

My dogs have been on purina from puppies to adult hood. This particular brand of pro plan is wonderful for especially because they offer a 47lb bag of this. Which is the largest bag I can find in pro plan. Beautiful boys deserves the best food!

Love purina proplan. Noticeably improved my Labs fur and skin within the 1st few weeks. Healthier and shinier coat and I swear she sheds less- still a ton but less on this food

Worms in the dog food. Bag appeared to be completely sealed, however noticed little worms in the bag as well as weird white pieces growing off of the food. Not sure if it's a Purina issue or Walmart storage issue either way I switched brands and ordering from chewy for now on with dog food.
