I used to use the kitty litter crystals and although I like using those, the smell of pee sitting in the bottom of the litter box would become overwhelming and I would have to take it outside once a month to hose it off. The pee also began staining the bottom of the litter box yellow. I wouldn't need to change the crystals as often for poo but the pee would build up on the bottom so much that I was wasting money replacing the crystals so often. There's no other way to remove the pee in the bottom other than pouring the crystals out and spraying it clean and then putting new. This process was expensive and time consuming. I needed something else! After switching to this litter box with pellets, I am able to change the pee pad out multiple times a month (as needed) and can use the litter pellets much longer. It saves me money and time to change out the pee pad more often than having to buy new litter and go outside and hose it off between uses. My cats pee towards the back of the box every time, so after a few days I'll turn the pad around to the front half for optimal usage. Helps save money! Also, I never smell the pee from the pee pad. I do smell the poo sometimes but it is because I put less pellets than recommended and they don't always have enough pellets to cover it. But I don't personally mind and I just scoop it out more often everyday. Overall cannot recommend this litter box enough! Also, I have 3 cats and the amount of litter spillage from them entering/exiting the box is significantly less! It's also easier for me to see the pellets that fall out since they're big enough to pick up and put back in the box (with gloves or tissues). The clear crystals would be all over the house sticking to the cat's feet/fur and almost impossible to see unless I stepped on them (ew!) Please make the switch! You will not regret it!!

Cats will knock pellets on the floor, but that's infinitely better than microscopic bits of litter or crystals. Pad tray slides out the end and is easy to dispose and replace pads. Cats adapted to it readily.

Adopted a 9 week old kitten from our Humane Society. I was a little nervous to switch her over to pellets so I asked the Humane Society for a little bit of her (non-clumping, GROSS) litter. I put a little bowl of that in this system. She first went in the bowl (sweet baby) so I got a smaller bowl so her bum hung out and she "got it" that the entire thing was her potty. I LOVE THE NO AMMONIA SMELL!! I never smell urine. Just on our last day today- still good! Poohs stink to high heaven when she first goes- but they also stink in clumpable litter (especially if your older cat- now over the rainbow bridge- stopped caring to bury poops). Cost effective and I just love the lack of ammonia smell. May have to change the pad sooner when she is bigger (she is teeny tiny now) but oh how nice not to have to dig for buried waste!! Just scoop a poop and flush each day and then toss the pee pad once a week!

I love the Breeze cat litter system! Not only does it work very well it’s also so easy to use and it looks so much better than just a plain ordinary litter box! you can leave the lid open or keep it closed ,haven’t even noticed any odor either.I highly recommend this system,if you’re looking for a covered easy to use litter box for your cat.The price is good too.

As a disabled senior, I find this system a blessing. I no longer have to rely on others to help me care for my support kitty. I am thrilled that all I have to do is remove and replace the pad. My cat has kidney disease and, as a result, urinates frequently and excessively. The system handles her output beautifully. Plus, scooping pooh is so much easier than typical litter.

If you have large cats...I do, then this is way too small for them...a large box with a cover like this one has would be a wonderful addition to their line of boxes since I really like using the breeze pellets/pads.

i love the concept of no litter escaping the box but not the horrible smell that emits from the box. it took about 3 weeks to train my car to use the box and now i feel it was a waste of effort and time. the pellets or lick away pads work but the do nothing to mask the smell.

Have used this system for years. Ordered a new box to replace old one bc we wanted a nice new clean one Not sure if we received a defective one or they changed something but this thing leaks onto the floor. The pee pads are barely used and it's leaking. Thought it was us at first but it's the box. Very disappointed.

The little pieces (what should be similar to a bolt) that fit on the sides to keep the top on and allow it to open up/move back, are missing. The box was open across one side and the corner of another was open. The box was badly damaged.
