My daughter started experimenting with drawing and using color pencils. She says these pencils are not bad, decent pigment, blends well, and is great for her anime drawings. She hasn't done “realistic” pictures, so I can't speak to how well it works at creating texture and contrast. It has all the starter tools a budding artist may need and a great price.

I like all the pencil colors, the sketch pad, and tools. However, the pencil sharpener could be better. Also, there is a tool included and I have no idea what it is.
