I LOVE GRITS! BUT - I like them cooked beyond the recommended time. An extra minute or so makes these instant grits ever so more soft, less gritty! I even add wee bits of cheddar cheese to the last minute of microwave cooking. I'm a lover of the traditional cheese grits - ordering this famous dish when at Mooresville, North Carolina restaurants, after moving here from "up North" Give this a try! You'll be happily surprised if you like "smoooooth" grits!!!!!!!!

Quaker Instant Grits Original, 0.98 oz 22 Count Between Quaker Oatmeal and these Quaker Grits, I do eat breakfast everyday. The grits seem to have a lot of dark grains that look like bugs, but they're not. I still spoon them out. I make cheese grits with them and they are delicious. I like them in Autumn season with sausage cooked in air fryer and scrambled eggs. Both the grits and oatmeal have increased in price in an outrageous kind of way. I know because I eat them everyday and have for many years. The original that you cook on the stove is better, but I'm all about convenience anymore.

Quaker grits is good in morning with eggs and in the afternoon with grill chicken or with chicken nuggets. You can put whatever you like to flavor your grits .

I don't like any other instant grits. NONE. This Quaker single-serve instant (plain) Original grits is the best, and only product on the market worth your attention. It's also DIFFERENT than the bulk pack Quaker Instant Grits. I think Quaker should put this product into the bulk packs, because they'd sell more. They're well seasoned, though occasionally need another dash of salt. The pure grit flavor you're expecting, is there. I cook for a true southern girl regularly, and these are the only iteration of instant grits she actually likes. Nothing compares. Nothing else makes it into my pantry.

For the grits lover who wants it at breakfast and dinner. For a creamier result, use milk. Grits compliment pan seared fish or many variations of a cooked egg. Hate eggs?, serve them with shredded cheese. My favorite is to add some salsa onto my cheese grits n eggs with crumbled bacon on top...

I really like this brand. Instead of buying the flavored varieties, I simply add some butter made from yogurt and a little bit of shredded cheese. It's quick to fix, very tasteful, economical, and has lots of nutrition.

These grits are good and it does not take long to fix. They go with everything . Fish and chicken goes great with grits. i especially like the grits that comes in assorted flavors.

These are a monthly staple in my pantry. Quick and easy when you're in a rush or just on the go. Just as good if not better than the ones that takes all day and night.

The box of grits individual packets when it was packed, the box was crushed terribly!! I hate buying anything that looked like it did on my shelf!! Very disappointed in shipping!!
