I really like this cereal, I simply but it in the microwave with a little bit of water for 2 minutes and put milk on it without sugar and it actually taste really good. I prefer the maple and brown sugar, the next time I get it, I will definitely get that flavor. Good job though, Quaker!
My family loves these. They are so convenient for fixing them for my granddaughter in the morning before going to school. I really like this value pack. Price is great.
I don't know why this flavor is so hard to find. Please bring it back and don't change up the flavor when you do. It is the only Oatmeal I will eat and can get my kids to eat. We have tried many in substitution of this flavor because it's so hard to find and nothing compares. Please bring it back!
What can I say, So they improved the recipe to make it healthier and well it taste worst, but isn't that the trade off, health food usually is bland and weird texture, that's why I choose junk food, but you can't have it both ways so I will adjust to the new taste and texture it's not horrible just different I am glad it's healthier. Nice to see a company try to improve.
Your shrinkflation is out of control. You are putting so little oatmeal in the packets that the cooking directions are no longer accurate. The 2/3 of a cup fill line on the packets isn't even accurate anymore. I just used a measuring cup to validate this. It actually only holds 1/2 of liquid up to the line. And when you add only 1/2 cup, the oatmeal still doesn't thicken up after more than 2 minutes of microwaving, indicating there is very little actual oatmeal in the packets.
I initially gave this three stars until I started looking at the total sugar in this 45g packet. 29% of it is sugar (13g). I was okay with something different than I remembered from the taste and texture since the formula changed. I am not saying it is better or worse; there is a difference. I am unsure if there are fewer oats, but I am leaning that way. There is a big block of something that I am assuming is the maple and Brown sugar flavoring, which is made up of the monk fruit extract you are using now. And I am sure the added sugar content went up. 7g of total sugar and 6 g of added sugar, a total of 13 g for one packet (45g). 29% of the packet is sugar!!! I am an adult, so I choose not to give this to my kids. I am looking at all teh other packets to see the Total sugar content.
I thought I had found something I really enjoyed eating for breakfast and now you changed it up, to say it SUCKS is a understatement. I will try and finish this box I have, adding my own ingredients, but after that, you've lost me as a costumer. Did ya'll ever hear the phrase, If it ain't broke don't fix it. Bad decision on Your part.
TERRIBLE! Too sweet. What are the ingredients/chemical composition of ADDED SUGARS? Is Sugar Alcohol an ingredient of regular maple brown sugar? DISAPOINTED. The new formula does NOT even deserved 1 star - I would have rated it ZERO. I was a loyal customer of the product 50 years & I will never purchase it again.
This had been my breakfast meal for years but no more. After increasing the microwave cook time it still seems undercooked and is like eating flavorless, indigestible wet cardboard. The sweetner is awful and sticks to the inside of the packet requiring manual removal. I guess I'll add Quaker Oats to the growing list of companies trying to fix things that weren't broken.
the boxes of oatmeal were crushed and opened in the shipping box, the packs of oatmeal were loose in the shipping box and some were opened!!(!by being crushed?!) i have had crushed packages before... never complained tho, if this continues i will stop shopping online at walmart and choose another store.... i know the shipping was free, but I had to spend a certain amount to get it.... so, it really wasnt free! I deserve better service from the shipping department..u cant just throw everything in the box together, without some common sense involved!!! I have been your customer for years...u will lose me, if this doesnt improve!!!
