48 Pack Oatmeal is great for the price.

Sharon May 20, 2026

Some packets were a little hard, especially the brown sugar bits. But they got soft after heating the cereal. I have no complaints.

Recipe change to brown sugar instant oatmeal?

Drewmburns February 1, 2019

Recently got a couple of boxes of instant oatmeal the maple brown sugar ones. Noticed the design of the box changed, was disappointed to find the recipe did too. I've been eating this for breakfast for about 10 years now. It's awful compared to the old recipe.

Shipping Issues

Anonymous December 13, 2025

THE ISSUE IS SHIPPING/DELIVERY NOT THE PRODUCT. It was via "LASERSHIP" and "ONTRAC" shipping service(s). LASERSHIP AND OR ONTRAC might want to properly train and hire more workers this Holiday season, for better delivery timing. OR.... WALMART SHOULD NOT USE LASERSHIP AND ONTRAC. It looks like the shipping box was opened and resealed, sloppily. The Quaker Oatmeal box (inside) was opened, as well...that's off-putting. It was delivered past bedtime, 11:28 PM, later than scheduled, 9 PM. Also, the GATE WAS LEFT WIDE OPEN, there are COYOTES AND FOXES in this area. Luckily, I was up to get the package and shut the gate. Otherwise, both the package and the property would have been vulnerable all night long (in addition to coyotes/foxes, the new neighbors had a party going on directly across the street). Now I have to go somewhere to print labels, etc., in order to return it. Maybe, I'll get past the off-putting part and keep it. I don't know yet.

Not up to you standards

Kathy 96 May 29, 2026

The last 2 boxes of 8 that I have purchased Show no sign of brown sugar but a fine white powder that does not “melt”. What have you done to this previously delicious cereal? I am going to have to find a different brand. ☹️ I grew up on Quaker Oats.

Revolting New Taste

SY2026 May 30, 2026

The taste between my current box and the last is 100% different now, and the new taste is actually revolting. It tastes less sweet and has a strange after taste now that that only gets more disgusting as you continue to eat it. I'll be switching to compliments.

BRING BACK THE OLD AND GREAT!!! FORMULATION!!!

LOVED THE OLD FORMULATION December 7, 2025

This new formula is tasteless compared to the old one. 😞 I usually don't like to give bad reviews, and customarily only take the time to praise. But this relatively new formulation of your single-serve oatmeal is just really so very awful that I think it's important that you are informed. 😞 In addition to taste, the vitamin fortification took an hit, too, apparently, in the newer formulation. How do I know? I have very sensitive gums. And I noticed that whenever I consumed the old version, the Quaker brand single-serve variety packs, the apples and cinnamon, or maple 🍁 and brown sugar, or cinnamon and spice flavors, my oral gum tissue improved! So the fortified by B-vitamins old version was doing something healthy and good!! 👍 I do understand your logic: simpler natural ingredients is the consumer trend. But sometimes, and this is one of those times, I believe, it's best not to mess with a good thing. And you had a really good thing going with your old formula. And I can see by the other comments of former!! habitual consumers, I'm by far not the only one complaining. PLEASE!! 🙏 Consider bringing back the old, and obviously beloved, formula. I bought it ALL the time and considered it a healthy addition to my diet. Now, I don't buy it AT ALL! (And I wonder about the other disappointed consumers. Have they also abandoned you?) Especially give the B-vitamins fortifications a reconsideration. I bet there were many, many young kids who greatly benefited from them - as well as learned that something as healthy as oatmeal could compete - and win! - for their breakfast attention and consumption. Thank you.

Ack! What was that

Lifetime Lover October 20, 2025

Yesterday, I would've given this a 5 star review as I usually have 3 packs with my tea every morning. Then I replenished my supply with an 18 pack from the market. When I made it this morning it was TERRIBLY salty. I thought maybe something was wrong with one of the packs or the water so I grabbed another pack and made a small sample to try. I can only compare my beloved maple and brown sugar oats to what I imagine is what a rusty anchor from the bottom of the sea tastes like. So salty and off putting, I am in shock. 42 years of this beloved instant sweetness that got me through my cold morning bus stops, rushed work mornings, homesick deployments, and now lazy retirement has betrayed me. I'm almost scared to buy another box, will it happen again. Fool me once, shame one you. I don't want to be the fool again.

Tooo Salty

Jonny827 May 3, 2026

New April 2026 formula?? The salt content is through the charts and tastes like, salt. Didn't use to be like that. Disgusting

Too Salty!

MyRevs February 1, 2026

The salt content is off the charts. It used to be my favorite flavor. Now it tastes like the bottom of a bowl of popcorn. Gross.
