Quaker State Motor Oil, 10W-30, 5 Quart

I have been using Quaker state oils for 47 years.I never had a motor issue.I have 4 cases on hand for further use.This is the first time I ever wrote a review but wanted to let you know how pleased I am with this product. THANKS

50 years ago, quaker state was given a bad name because of the sludge, because it was a straight 30w non detergent and motors ran cooler also. Things have changed since then and the quaker state today is a detergent oil and a multi viscosity/ thickness oil. Having said that, todays quaker state is not the same animal as it was 50 years ago, so I have no problem with it at all.

I've been using Quaker State since I've been driving. {over 50 years} Always has given me great service with no mechanical failures.

Been using 5W-30 Advanced Durability conventional oil in my supercharged Buick Park Avenue for 25k miles since owning the car. Not one single problem and the oil runs quiet and smooth. No matter if it's 100 degrees above or below zero in the dead of winter, car starts and runs smoothly every time! What's better is QS oil is priced a lot cheaper than the rest and works just as good! I expect to get several more thousand miles out of this car and engine before it gets traded in for something else. I plan to keep on using QS for the foreseeable future! Have to try some in my lawnmower and snowblower as well. Use this oil with confidence, your engine will love it!

Have been using another quality brand, but changed over to Quaker Full Synthetic a couple of months ago. as my Cadillac uses 8 qts. The engine has had tiny lifter noises which come with the newest Gen Northstar Engine. I put on 5,000 miles a month and change oil. Now at 6,800 miles the noises are gone. I have 7 vehicles and will use QS in everything. DEXOS has been added which smooths the cylinder walls for more power and the rotating parts for less noise.

I got my first car back in 2004. I chose Quaker State because the commercial on TV stated that Quaker State was proven tough against failure and breakdown. I was sold. I have been using Q.S. ever since in all my cars. I still own them and are still on the road today! I will be loyal and use Quaker State for Life. Just like Quaker State has been loyal for my engine! we always use quacker state my father -in law used it in a 68 ford truck he bought new,. back in 1994 a couple of years before he passed away he had to put new valve pan gaskets on it took the cover off and it was as clean as a new one best oil around period
