QuikClot is a product designed to promote clotting and thus stop bleeding. I had cut myself in a kitchen accident and I take blood thinners due to a heart condition. I could not get it to stop bleeding so i went to my local ER and this is the very product they used. It's a gauze pad impregnated with a hemostatic to promote clotting. They then taped that in place and then wrapped and taped the finger I had cut. QuikClot is militarily tested and proven for wound care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you keep it in your medicine cabinet or first aid kit! IT WORKS!!

Quik Clot gauze is really something special. I have a bit of medical background - and although the formula is propietary, it's safe to say the clotting agents work. I recently cut (read: skinned) the top part of my knuckle while doing some home bicycle repair. I hadn't had a gusher like that in a long time. I used the QuikClot and one small strip over the wound immediately stopped the bleeding. It didn't even seep through to the outer bandage. The product is a bit pricy - and I haven't been able to find pre-impregnated bandage ROLLS from QuikClot yet so for now I will keep purchasing this product. Absolutely fantastic to have around just in case. I re-purchased some more after use recently.

Fantastic product. Used for a cancer wound that would bleed out terribly at times. I would cut off a small piece and apply pressure as directed, and the bleeding would cease. This product helped preserve the person's life. Highly recommended and worth the money, for sure.

Never got them delivered. They fell out of the box, but I got a full refund. Box had a few openings in it %26 they slipped out in delivery

I didn't realize how thin it was going to be. The package is about the size of a small/ medium single piece of gauze. With it being 3"x24", I thought there would be enough to pack a wound with, like I was taught in an emergency preparedness class.
