Happy with the size and sturdiness of these pins. I did however reduce the star rating because the pins do NOT adhere to a weighted magnetic pin holder.

little difficult to open but holds well color is consistent and I choose these for rust avoidance options which holds up well

Purchased these because of color and label as quilting pins. I expected these to be sharp. Quilting in the name implies use for going through fabric and batting layers. These pins are very dull. They barely penetrate 100% cotton fabric. Add light batting and 100% cotton fabric batting and their use is discouraging. The amount of force needes to penetrate the layers causes wrinkles and movement. The head of the pins are soft. I found several with parts of head distorted losing the effect of "safety" for these pins. I definitely won't be purchasing more

These pins are listed as quilt basting pins. They are huge! They are way too large to baste a quilt with and are so big that they make a hole in the fabric. They are pretty and seem to be well made - just not for quilting.
