This was an awesome deal for my kitchen knife sharpening needs. My paring knives haven't been this sharp since I purchased them. Very easy to use and doesn't take up much room to keep in the drawer with my knives which is very handy.
My fiance is a chef and he wouldn't buy anything else to sharpen his cooking utensils.
Quick and effective!
I was surprised it's actually works to sharpen your knives
It's just like my husbands orginal but now he has two! loves loves loves it. he has been sharpen everything in the house and not just his rada knives. bringing our kitchen knives back to life.
This price was ALOT cheaper than buying from the RADA store and shipping was free too!fast shipping and great price
only a few swipes and my rada knives are razor sharp ..love this product..would highly recommend
It sure doesn't look like much. In fact it looks like two slugs riveted to a piece of plastic that should cost about a buck. But my knives haven't been this sharp since the day I took them out of the box. I've tried wand sharpeners and electric sharpeners, but nothing works as well as this little gadget. This should be in every chef's kitchen and on every wedding gift registry. It is amazing.
I use it for kitchen knives, easy to use and gets them super sharp.
I tested the sharpener with a very dull knife, and it took about a hundred strokes to make the knife sharp. However, this was faster than other sharpeners that I've tried to use on dull knives, which seem to take more like five hundred strokes. The Rada is not a miracle sharpener. and you'll still have to put some effort into it. It may work faster on knives that were not as dull as my sample. My one concern is that the edge of the sharpening wheels will eventually become dull themselves, but if you sharpen knives only a couple times a year, the sharpener may last some years.
